Once the Pharaoh Atem passed through the gates when he beat Yugi he was expecting a welcoming place but just to find out he just looked around and noticed he wasn't in Egypt or on earth even tho it seems like it
Atem Pov. I was walking around this strange world and not knowing of what dangers this place might hold*Why wasn't I sent back into Egypt..*he kept asking himself this until he saw a child covered in blood and in front of him I have to assumed that it was his parents and so I walked up to him and hugged him* I'm sorry that your parent's gotten killed.... Hey if I may ask what is your name little one?* I asked
