Jacks pov
I just stood still looking at the question. I know...it seems like a useless question I could just say my biggest fear is heights.
But it's not that easy.....because my biggest fear is personal and I actually forgot about it but thanks to this river I'm now reminded of it.
"Jack?" I heard Skylers soft voice.
Only then did I notice that I was making my own river of tears. I took a deep breath and was about to answer when Mike spoke up.
"Take your time dude" He said but I know I couldn't. Krystel and Riftus are strong but Trifus is not as weak as it used to be and the two Kingdom a can only handle the army for so long.
"It okay I'll do it" I said.
"My biggest fear is....." I paused and took another deep breath.
".....is putting my trust in people" I said finally letting the tears flow.
"Jack you have to give a reason" Brady said when nothing happened. I nodded and continued.
"I.....trusted my mom when she said she'd always be there for me...but she.....she wasn't.....she left me at a young age and I don't know whether she's alive or not but to me now she dead" I said.
"I trusted her with everything I had and I payed the price thats why I vowed that I would never trust anyone" I spoke
"But.....I met Skyler and my brothers from other mothers....they taught me to trust again." I smiled to myself.
Just then the water opened up and made a path to go to the other side. I looked back to see three pairs of wide eyes and smiled at them.
"Bye guys" I smirked. Skylers rolled her eyes. "The other is designed isn't that far you'll still be here" she said as a matter-of-factly. I ignored her and made my way to the other side.
When I reached there the water dropped going back to its original former.
Skylers pov
Brady was the next one to stand on that activator thingy. I could tell that he was nervous. The words were forming and eventually made a sentence.
"Your first love??" It asked him. I could feel my insides burn I was not about to hear another story about Alexa.
Brady's eyes widened and he looked at Jack on the other side who was waiting to hear his answer.
Brady took a deep breath before answering.
"My first love was Skyler" He said it so softly I would've missed it if I wasn't focusing. I heard a growl well that's what it sounded like that came from Jack.
He was staring daggers at Brady. I on the other hand was about to faint. My best friend like- loved me. Brady looked at my surprised expression and sighed.
"When I first met her ..I thought she was the most beautiful girl I laid eyes on"
PLEASE STOP TALKING!!! JACK IS TOTALLY LOSING IT!! "I didn't want anyone to have her exept me" He continued.
"I loved her so much but in the end came to terms with the fact that I couldn't have her and that we were just....friends" He finished and the path opened again.
He walked through it without sparing us a glance and stood as far away from Jack as possible. I could understand Jack's anger.
They're best friends Brady should have told Jack but he also should have told me.
Mikes pov
I stood at the activator to stop the deafening silence. "Best friend?" Seriously is this river doing this for entertainment.
