She's Dead?

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating for 2 weeks? I'm not sure. Anyway,here's a chapter for you after a long wait! :)

Hailey's P.O.V

           "So you are saying that Lucas here was dead? And don't know why he is alive and is a teenager?" Alex asked. "Technically,yes. But I can always give my brother a call. He has a huge knowledge about legends and myths and stuff like that."

          "Well, I hate to break your explaination Hailey, but I know why I am here. I am here to protect you from the council. You mother died in order to bring me back to life. Now,I'm a hybrid who is strong enough to protect you,"Lucas said.

            "Wha-what are you saying? Are you telling me my mother is d-d-dead?" "I'm sorry for your loss but she did it to protect you,"Lucas said with softened eyes.

             I couldn't think of anything but the fact that my mum died. She died for me. FOR ME. And suddenly, all those times where I disrespected her,where I scolded her or was being mean to her came floating to my mind. It made me regret not treating her better.

             I started to have a panic attack and the last thing I saw was Lucas and Alex rushing to help me before I fell into an abyss of darkness.

So I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. I'm too lazy to continue as I need to celebrate on my own as exams are finally over. Bye!!
