She pulled away first, hands trembling, heart pacing rapidly. It was her first kiss, and she shared it with someone she never expected to.
Hermione Granger's chocolate eyes locked on the silvery blue ones of Draco Malfoy. They were sat upon the stone ground, she was in front of him while his legs bent on her both sides.
"You're so wonderful, Granger…" he whispered on her ear which sent her skin goosebumps.
She was the most gorgeous in his eyes, a goddess he would adore, praise, and worship, not like how the remainder of his family would treat her.
Flattered but hiding it, she stiffened her spine and remarked, "That's quite blunt, Malfoy, I never anticipated you'd think of me like that since I am a-"
"A mudblood? A muggle?" He finished her sentence for her, smirking and he scoffed.
"I told you," he caressed her soft, freckled cheek with his delicate fingers, "those things don't matter to me anymore, not when I realized I have already fallen… for you."
She didn't say another word. Instead her reply was another kiss as she slowly planted her lips on his own.
He didn't pulled away like how she did when he first kissed her. This time, he pulled her head closer, deepening the kiss.
It was a scorching afternoon but surely, it wasn't the reason Hermione felt the heat rushing up to her face, travelling up from her back, and from her butterfly-filled stomach.
She thought it was only quick peck, but Draco took a grip on her brunette curls as he moved his mouth with hers rhythmically. She gasped and moaned at the ecstacy of the moment, eyes tightly sealed as her hands flowed all over his neck.
They kissed there and then at the middle of the empty corridor, unaware that they were being observed by a pair of narrowed eyes.
"Mrs. and Mr. Malfoy! I expected greater of you two!"
Their heads turned abruptly. Faces colored scarlet, resembling a tomato, they faced the sight of Professor McGonagall and her usual stern and crossed demeanor. The two jumped from their seats, embarrassed.
"Snogging senselessly at this hour, within school grounds?! Ten points from your house, each!"
With that, she turned her heel around, leaving the pair with confused expressions.
"Did she just- did she just called me… Mrs. Malfoy?" Hermione grimaced, not minding the twenty points she McGonagall took from them. Draco raised his eyebrows.
"Maybe…" he shrugged, then his feet began moving away from where he stood, hands in his pockets.
Dumbfounded, Hermione sprinted until she caught up with Draco. She intertwined their hands as they walked away.
Not realizing a smile creeping up on Draco's face, he pondered to himself, "Yeah, right, someday you will be Mrs. Malfoy, Hermione..."
