Several days had passed since they had left the refinery. The entire UNSC had been on lookout for the unlikely team of soldiers. Unfortunately this meant the helicopter they were using was being broke down from constant use.
Sam: How we doin up here Cal.
Calvin: Well.. On gas we're doing just fine. But the copter itself is breaking down.
Sam: Shit.. Okay, well we're gonna have to land somewhere, right?
Calvin: Right.. Unfortunately there's only one place for miles, and she ain't gonna last much longer boss.
Calvin turns his navigation screen to Sam, and Sam just lets out a sigh.
Sam: Do we have to go here? I think I'd rather die.
Calvin: It's the only option we have.
Sam: Very well.. We land in the armpit of Hell.
After only a couple more minutes, they arrive at their destination and everyone steps off the copter, right before it explodes.
Ariane: Jesus, dude were you actually taking care of that thing?!
Calvin: She could only handle so much. And her name was Bessy.
Sam: Everyone group up. Prepare for a potential battle. We're in the heart of one of the biggest airbases the UNSC has to offer.
Suddenly a Scorpion Tank rolls around the corner, blasting loud classical music through it's speakers, before coming to a halt. The hatch quickly pulls open and a man emerges from the tank.
???: What's up bitches?
Ryan: No fucking way. Jackie? Is that you?
Jackie: The one and only, boys.
Sam: We thought you fucking died.
Jackie: When the hell did you think I died. Bitch I'm standing riiiight here!
Calvin: Well.. The war, obviously. You saved us all from a grenade.
Jackie: Oh right, that. Well my insides ain't looking so good. This suit's the only thing keeping me alive at this point.
Ryan: Well, it's refreshing to see an old face in this time of crisis. Unless you want us dead.
Sam: Carver blacklisted us and set us up fo-
Jackie: Yeah I don't care. I'll join you guys.
Calvin: But you don't even know why we were set up.
Jackie: Course I do. Carver is trying to frame you for the horrifying murder of that elite's homeworld and then joining him to destroy the human race.
Komtareus: I'm standing right here.
Calvin: Well guys, I guess he knows everything.
Sam: How do you know all this?
Jackie: Guys, this is world news. He's been make conferences all over the world, saying how the man turned war hero had betrayed the galaxy, all this bullshit.
Sam: Well that's a little excessive.
Jackie: We need to get out of clear view, UNSC makes very frequent patrols around this area.
Calvin: I'll catch up, I have a few things to collect from Bessy.
Calvin runs off towards the broken down helicopter, while the others follow Jackie into HQ
Michael: So uh, Jackie are you..-
Jackie: Yep I'm the only soldier here.
Michael: That's not what I was gonna- Wait you run this place by yourself?
