Shawn's Pov...

It's Thursday and Justine hasn't been at school all week. I tried texting and calling her, but haven't gotten any responses.

Hannah said that her brother Dylan told her that Justine's sick, but she also said that Justine's other brother said that she was in California.

I haven't done anything to make her ignore me...I don't think...so I'm just assuming she's sick, because Hannah also mentioned that whenever Justine's sick she doesn't get on her phone at all.

I hope she gets better soon, if she is sick. I might go to her house after school with her favorite soup. If I can remember how she made it. She's a picky eater, so hopefully I make it right. I know she uses rotisserie chicken from Walmart, rice and chicken broth, but I don't know what else she adds.

"Hey, do you know what Justine uses to make her chicken rice soup?" I whispered to Hannah, when the teacher had her back to us. "Ugh, garlic chicken, rice, chicken broth and a spoonful of butter." She laughed quietly at the last part.

"Okay, thanks." "Aw, you're making your girlfriend soup. That's cute." "Are you being sarcastic?" "Yes and no." She laughed.

I rolled my eyes with a slight chuckle, then turned my attention back on the teacher. Well I tried to, all I could think about was Justine.

After school, I went straight to Walmart to buy everything that I needed for the soup. I also grabbed a couple of the big sized bars of Nestle crunch for her.

"What are you making out of all of this?" The cashier asked. "I'm um making my girlfriend soup." Why am I so awkward, when I'm talking to strangers? "Brody! You owe me fifty bucks!" She shouted to the guy a few cash registers away.

"Why does he owe you money." "We made a bet on if you had a girlfriend or not." "Why?" I asked giving her a look. "Well with your reputation, we didn't think you would have a girlfriend." "My reputation?" I asked confused, forgetting that I've been pretending to be a bad boy since 7th grade.

"You're a total bad boy. I've seen you run away from the cops, many times." "You have?" "Yeah, you sprint right by my house, I'm surprised they haven't caught you yet." "They're just not smart enough to catch me. They don't even know who I am." I shrugged, pretending to be cocky.

"How would they not know who you are? Everyone talks about you." "They've never shown up at my door and asked for me. Look, I really gotta go, how much will it be?" "$17.86." She rolled her eyes. I handed her a $20, then grabbed my bags and started to walk away.

"What about your change?" "Keep it." I turned around to look at her, then turned back around and went out the door and made it to my Jeep. I put the bags in the passenger seat, then drove home to make the soup and drop everything else off.

Everyone in her family's cars are gone, so I'm assuming they are at work or something. I hope she's still here. I knocked on the front door, loud enough for her to hear from upstairs, then waited a minute before ringing the doorbell.

(Am I the only one who was told that rule? Where you knock or ring the doorbell, wait a minute, then do it again, then leave if they don't answer by the second time?😂)

I was about to leave, when I heard the deadbolt being unlocked, then the door opening to reveal my beautiful girlfriend, wrapped up in a blanket. "Hey, I brought you soup. Hannah said you were sick." She nodded her head and let me in without saying a word.

She didn't say a word until we were in her room. "I'll be right back." She said very quietly, then walked out of the room as I sat the soup and chocolate on her desk. I sat down on her desk chair and waited for her to come back.

When she came back, she put something in my hands, then sat down on her bed. She looked nervous. I gave her a confused look then looked down to see what she had given me. I was in shock for a split second, when I realized that I was holding a pregnancy test and an ultrasound.

I looked up at her to see her looking down with tears rolling down her cheeks. "Baby." I said in a soft voice then got up and walked over to her. I knelt down in front of her and hugged her.

"Shhh, it's okay, it's going to be okay." I moved my hands to her cheeks and started to leave little kisses all over her face, until she stopped crying. "What are we going to do?" She asked. "Whatever you want to do." I answered, then kissed her forehead.

"You're not mad at me?" She asked. "Why would I be mad at you? It's not like you wanted this to happen. We were safe. Things happen." "I want to keep the baby." She said very quietly. "Okay." I smiled and kissed her softly.

"Do your parents know? Is that why you weren't at school?" "No, I told them I was sick so they let me stay home." "Are you going to tell them?" "No, I know it sounds bad, but I'm hoping that I can get through senior year, then move out before they find out."

"Where do you plan on going?" "I don't know, I'll find an apartment." "Or, you can move in with me. My parents wouldn't mind." "Shawn, I can't do that to them." "Fine, we'll get an apartment together." "You know, most teenaged boys would run from this situation." "I'm not like most teenaged boys." I chuckled.

"So you brought soup?" "Yeah, your favorite, I hope I made it right." "You're the best." She smiled hugging me. I kissed her cheek, then quickly grabbed the soup and gave it to her.

"Thank you." She smiled then put a spoonful in her mouth. "Mmm, you make it better than I do." She giggled. "Aw man, now I have to make it." I joked. "Sorry babe, now you have to be the cook in the family." She teased. I chuckled, then took the spoon from her and tried some of the soup. "Okay, That is good."

"I told you." She smiled. "I love you." "I love you too." She pecked my lips, then continued to eat the soup. I can't believe, I'm going to be a dad. We might be young, but there's never a right or wrong time to become parents.

For the rest of the day, we just laid in her bed and watched Lucifer on Netflix and talked. I stayed with her until her parents were on their way home, because they don't like her hanging out with boys. I wonder why.

(Obviously sarcasm😂)

"I'll see you later." I kissed her forehead then got up. "Okay, do you want to go out to eat after school?" "Sure." I smiled. "Okay, I'll try to go tomorrow." She giggled. "I hope you can make it." I smiled, then hugged her one last time.

I quickly made my way out of the house and into my car. I pulled out of her driveway and towards the end of her street. Right as I got to the stop sign, I saw her mom drive passed me. Good thing I left when I did.

A/n: I went on a trip with two of my best friends this week 7/16/19 - 7/20/19. One I have known since she was born and the other since 3rd grade. They have never met before our trip😂 We all met in Virginia. One already lives there and the other one flew out from California and I flew from Washington😂 We were in Richmond for the first two days and went to Kings Dominion on the 17th, then on the 18th we got on a bus and went to Washington DC, then got onto the Metro rail and made our way to my hometown. While we were there, we had dinner with the one who lives in Va's family and my other best friend who passed away in 2017's parents and little brother, we went to the mall, saw Spider-Man far from home in my childhood movie theater, and spent today just hanging out. I'm now at the airport waiting to fly home😂 I'm going to miss my best friends, but I also want to go home😂 Flying here was my first time flying alone and my first time using Lyft or any other ride sharing apps😂 Some drivers were cool, others a little weird😂 Our favorite was a guy named Jason😂 Our Lyft driver had dropped us off at the wrong place, so we called another and he showed up😂 there was a guy who had a shovel in his trunk, which creeped us out a bit😂 another had cardboard on the floor and a towel on his lap, covering something. That one made me anxious😂 what the hell was he hiding? All in all, we had a great time. I'm glad I got to spend a week with them, being grown ups😂 I'm also glad I got to see the people who I think of as my other parents😂

Let me know if there is anyone you would like to see in this book😂 Like Magcon boys and such😂
