Getting away

Right after my break up with my husband, I decided to spend sometime with my grandparents at the countryside, to wait for my final divorce with him.
Changed my number and blocked every contact of him. Mostly!

Granny? Grandpa? I called out, when I entered into the house.

Darling! Granny cried out as I walked towards the living room.

"Oh gosh! I love your new decoration"

"Thank you sweetheart"Granny wept as she hugged me

" You told us, you were coming but, what you didn't tell us is, the reason why you decided to spend some weeks here" Grandpa asked, as he offered me a seat.

I wasn't really sure if, I should tell them the truth yet. So, instead of telling the actual reason...I came up with something to distract them.

"I thought that, spending time with you guys till Thanksgiving would be very cool"

"We thank the Heavens about this news" said Granny, as she handed a cup of coffee to me

"Honey" Grandpa warned

"What??? Just saying... But dear, where is your husband???"

"Granny...He's on a business trip right now"

"Poor me, I was hoping, he would come"

"Well, I'm exhausted so, I'm gonna take a nap"

"Your mum's room needs to be redecorated" said, Grandpa as he handed the key to my mum's room.

"Thanks"

"Do you need any help"

"Thanks, Granny...I think, I can handle it"

"I'm gonna make dinner" said, Granny as she entered the kitchen.

So, I packed my things into my mum's room and cleaned up the room a little bit. As I got up to change the curtains, I saw a tall body built, handsome guy with a dark curly hair and the most gorgeous thing, that got me licking my lips, were his pink lips. Oh my God, he looks so cute, painting his house...I guess.
He looked at my direction and smiled. I smiled back as I hanged the curtains up.
I couldn't get my eyes off him. One, because he's super hot and two, he kept staring and smiling at me. He then waved at me, I did same and turned to face the room. I'm blushing

Granny

"I think, she's hiding something from us"

"Come to think of it...she hates it here a lot" Bob, my husband stated.

"I wonder why, she decided to spend Thanksgiving with us, all of a sudden"

"We should try and ask her why?" He suggested

"After dinner, I guess"

I don't understand her at all...

I went through my Facebook page, deleted all the pictures, I posted with my husband, Nick. I went on to look through his page to see if, he had done same. As I thought , he has and has posted the pictures he took with Natalie (the girl he cheated on me with)
I wanted to tear up but, promised myself never to do that again. I then looked around my room and decided I needed to repaint it. I looked out the window again and as I thought, the hot guy was staring right at me.

"Mackenzie dear" Granny called from downstairs.

"Yes Granny...be right there"

"Kindly, get me some carrots from the store down the street"

"sure"
I took my car keys from the holder and drove off.
