The sweet aroma of summer is in the air. I wake up early every morning and tidy and then I make. After that l wake up my lazy-ass brother, "Hey sleeping beauty" I said sarcastically, "Its time for breakfast".
"I'm coming " he replied with tired voice. I made delicious pancake, with a side of bacon and a nice warm cup of coffee.
We sat down together at the table as we normally do." Liz are you going to work today "he asked" Yeah, my boss called me this morning. I guess someone is sick cause today my day off"I replied.
"Well then, I guess we are both leaving today" he frowned and said. After breakfast I changed into my, la cafe uniform and left.
As usual work was practically empty but didn't really care. My best friend Emilia was already at work, "You're late lizzy" she said with a happy expression. "Are u serious, dude there barely any one here and it's 8:30am" I replied.
We both laughed for a moment and then she asked" Braid my hair in two for me please. I didn't want to be late*cough*like you so I just did a messy bun"
I smiled and said"Look great".
She looked at me with a sarcastic are you serious expression. She moved her lips as though she was calling me a bitch.
"Fine then " l said. Then she sat down and I took my time to braid her hair. When i I was finished, our manager the sweetest old woman I have ever met told us to tidy up a bit. I went for my head phone, turned on the music and started my tidying. There really wasn't much to do, so I almost finished.
I just wiped the counter while singing loud, "Don't call me crazy baby". Then to my surprise I her someone answer "I wasn't going to", I turned around and saw the most handsome guy in the world.
He said some thing to me but I didn't hear and I said "what!?". Then he took of my head phone and said "Hello there you you have a great voice", I started to blushed a little and replied "thank you" and he chuckled.
"Hi my name is Toby" he said
"It's nice to meet you Toby my name is Elizabeth " I replied swiftly
" Well I was suppose to meet a friend but I guess he is late again"he sighed.
"Well, would you like some water while you wait? " I asked.
He sat down and said" Sure Thanks ". When I went into the kitchen Emilia look at me with a creepy - ass smile.
" What?....... "
" You completely forgot about me when you saw that boy"
