Ch. 1- Moving Out

Chapter 1

Walking out of my dad's car, I took in the view infront of me. We were currently at the Williams' Mansion. And boy, this is a huge one.

"Ah, Mr. Nelson, welcome! And I suppose you're Elysian Nelson?" a man in a black tuxedo greeted motioning to me then turned to my brother.

"And you must be Jackson. Come inside and we'll take your suitcases to your rooms."

We quickly nodded and went inside

You must be confused why we're at the Williams but let me tell you, I am as confused as you are a few minutes ago. It's really funny how this started. But before anything else let me introduce myself to you.

I am Elysian Aries Nelson, often preferred as 'El'. I am 16 years old. I go to school at Greenfield High, its a cliché school with your typical cocky jocks, slutty cheerleaders, popular kids, badboys and nerds. Yeah, and guess what I am? I'm a popular kid!

Not.

Im actually referred to as a nerd because of my appearance and my social status, but personally, I just really don't understand why people need those I'm just avoiding drama to survive hell - i mean school. I'm happy with my life, living with my twin brother Jackson, my dad and my monkey (Yes, I have a monkey as a pet, be jelly). Having one bestfriend named Lillian is another thing why I'm pretty content athough, she's the opposite of me we get along nicely.

Next person I think I need to discuss to you is, Beatrice Williams, a.k.a the Queen Bee of Greenfield High, she has straight blonde hair and ridiculously perfect hourglass body. She is undeniably gorgeous but what makes her different from other popular kids is, she is actually really nice and kind.

And then there's Blake Miller, the love of my life. he is Greenfield High's badboy, he has dark brown, almost black, hair, deep blue eyes, perfectly tanned skin, lean and muscular body and some tattoos here and there. And to complete his badboy looks, he always seem to wear that smirk that screams 'trouble'.

You tell anybody my undying love for Blake, you'll be a dead man walking.

I should really stop making empty threats, I know.

Anyway, back to my current situation this is what happened about 20 minutes ago.

Flashback

"Dad! I'm home!" I shouted as I close the front door and went straight to the kitchen where I know my father will be at.

"Hi sweetie," my dad said as I enter the kitchen seeing my dad sitting on a chair, drinking coffee and Pepper, my monkey, sitting beside him. I smiled and walked towards the fridge and got a glass of orange juice for me and for my brother. I sat down next to my brother and handed him his drink.

"How's school kids?" dad said.

"fine" me and Jackson told him at the same time. We don't really talk to our dad much because he's always working and all, and we only see him every Friday, like today. So we're not really close I guess.

"Okay, have any homeworks? or projects?" he added

"Just say what you have to say already" my brother replied bluntly, he knows when our dad asks things like these he usually just needs to say something and that he's just taking it slow. My brother doesn't appreciate that very much.

He sighed and said, "So, I am assigned to work at another branch of the company I work in and it's at Australia and I will need to be there for minimum of 5 months to 6."

Wow he can really be so straight forward.

"And you're leaving the house to us? Without an adult?" Jackson asked excitedly

"No. You two are gonna stay at the Williams' until I come back. I'll send you both your weekly allowance. Please be on your best behavior and go to your rooms and pack your things" with that said, he left the kitchen.

I'm pretty sure my eyes are as big as saucers and my jaw is touching the floor and so is my brother but we still went to our rooms and packed our things

After that, we load our suitcases at the trunk and went inside the car and the ride going to the Williams' was filled with silence. Awkward silence.

Flashback over

And that my friends, is how and why we're here.

Once we were inside, the same man told us to sit down and wait for the Williams, and so we did.
