The week was moving fast
Too fast
Or was it?
I really don't know...
Maybe it has to do with a certain upcoming football match between my school and the Underdogs of Wester High.
Showoffs.
But they were good.
And maybe that's why I was so nervous.
This was my first game ever since if joined the team.
I'd put in so much work to make the first pick by the coach and the thought of messing it all up kept me awake more than my fear for the Boogie man

For one thing,I was grateful her Dad hadn't been home when we'd called on her
He'd rushed out to grab dinner for them
I was kinda shy to meet her Dad
Not that I had anything to hide
I was just shy
That was that
She claimed she'd protested against the idea, but knowing how much she "loved " school,I can imagine the level of fight she put in.
Very little would be an understatement.
And the fact that her Dad had taken the whole week off to attend to her was an added bonus
She wouldn't miss a chance to spend more time with her Dad
She'd take advantage of any opportunity
And I understood
Uggggggh
But......
