A Friendly Date

I was awoken by the sound of my ringtone yes that dumb one but I should have probably changed.
"Hey who is it"I said sounding tired.
"Ummm. It's me Toby, your friend told me that today was your day off. Soooo I was wondering if you wanted to go out together "Toby said.

There was a moment of silence."Do you mean just me and you" I said. "No I'm so sorry, I meant me, you, emilia and josh" Toby said.

"Oh okay then, umm what time?"

"Like around seven and were meeting at Yorke's park. "

" k-k bye", then i hung up the phone and went back to sleep.

When i woke up my brother was gone and so was the food I brought back for him. He left a note that said I'm gone and some lunch money.

I ran up stairs and texted my bestie asking to come over her house. I threw my phone on the bed  cause I knew she would say yes.
 

I threw on some sweat pants,a tank top and some sneakers, then went on my.

"No, no, no I did not need to see that"
I said covering my eyes. I had just witnessed my bestie naked with josh.

I went straight outside and walked down the road. I followed the sidewalk and got lost.

I saw my ex walking his dog.
"Oh great"I muttered and turned to walk in the opposite direction. Unfortunately he catches up to me and grabs my ass like it was nobodies business.

I stared at him with a face that spells fuck off but he just smiles at me.

"How are you "

I don't answer

" Ummm. Maybe you didn't hear me. How are you bethy? "

" I fine, besides being blinded by my naked best friend and assaulted by my pervy ex"

"Oh well, it seems you aren't having the best day "

" Yah-think"

We both stared at the side walk for a moment. Then I remembered that I was lost and ask him to point me to the bus stop. When I arrived to the bus stop it was about 5:30. I jumped into the bus when it arrives and relax trying to forget what I saw.

I come home and toby texts me reminding me about the 'date'.

I threw on my signature ripped jeans,my favorite shirt cause it says
'Bite me' and a pair of black and white shoes.

Finally I do my hair in two low pony tails, grab my headset and hit the road.

When I arrived every one was waiting for me. "Hey guys" I greeted them with a wave and sat down on the bench that was beautifully decorated with candles.

It honestly felt awkward cause I sat beside toby and she sat beside her josh. There was silence.

"Sooo"I said trying to break the ice "its beautiful out hear".

"Yeah"toby said.

Then everyone except me takes phone and starts texting. After like 30minutes of silence I got up and toby grabed my hand.

"Wear you going sweetheart "

" Somewhere fun"

"Oohh. Can I come"

"No "

He pouted

" Fine. Come along then. "
