The cool air was in my hair as I strummed my urban acoustic guitar.
"Brian, I don't think you understand.. She's been in my head since I saw her"
I smiled as I remembered the way her green eyes shone like a million stars,
the way her hair smelt like the summer sands of Spain.
"Look man, I love you. You're my bro, but you gotta forget about her. She's no good, it'll end bad." Brain explained. The thing is he was right. I walked out onto our balcony and strummed my guitar softly. "Tequila sunrise, her body fit right in my hand" I sang softly. I looked up to see the bright barcelona sun, setting into the night. I walked back into my hotel room and changed into a white button up shirt with no sleeves and waited for Brian as we made it out to Señorita, the Place that never sleeps.
The night was fresh, Brian was eyeing every girl, He wanted to get it tonight, well every night. I scanned the crowd my blonde hair, summer sand wasn't here. Brian found a girl and brought her back to our hotel room in the matter of 5 hours, "12:39am, I can't go back" I walked as I heard the streets of Barcelona come to live, I heard singing, laughter, yelling, babies crying, lights flashing, I could feel the heat of the Barcelona weather. I could see, feel, smell her everywhere. I need to feel her in my arms again.
She was enchanting, ellagent, mesmerizing, beautiful, perfect. I felt the soft, cold sand touch my skin as I walked along the shore, listening to the water crash into waves, I listen to the people singing and laughing in the clubs, bars and streets as I walk. I heard running from behind me, I turned around slowly. It was her, the girl, the green eyes, blonde haired, girl. My Señorita.I picked her up and spun her around, as I did so I heard her soft giggle, I felt her smile on my neck. I slowly put her down.
"I missed you"she said whilst still shining that beautiful smile of hers. "I missed you more my Señorita" She giggled, as I reached for her hand, we walked down the beach, down to a pier with only a group of three people jumping off. We walked and sat at the end as we watched the stars in the Barcelona Sky. I looked down to see a small head leaning on my chest.
Our hands intertwined as we both sang the same tune of the night.
