2nd Person/Author's POV
You woke up abruptly. Your stomach was aching. It took you a second to realize, but it was the pang of hunger. You were also uncomfortably freezing. That's when you noticed that Harry wasn't there.
You jumped up from your laying position hurriedly, causing your head to start spinning. Crash! You were frozen in place as you saw a zombie break through a window. Harry didn't block the windows.
Shit, you thought. The door that was used for entering the house was blocked off with debris. Must have fallen when you were asleep. This house was old and falling apart. You needed to get out. Now!
You looked all around you. There was only one room that wasn't blocked off. It was on your left. You looked back at the zombie. It was staring at you, slowly moving towards you. The stench of rotting flesh was almost too much to handle.
Just then, Harry came out of the other room. "Hey, you're finally awake," he spoke. You heard him, but couldn't take your eyes of the zombie.
Move! Move dammit! However, fear had stricken you frozen. Harry followed your gaze to the zombie. He let out a slight gasp. Moving quickly, he searched for anything that could be used as a weapon.
By now, the zombie had stood up and was kinda just looking at you.

"W-what?" you stammered. You could hear a deep chuckling laughter emerge from the voice. What might've been ten seconds, felt like ten hours. The laughs just bore into your brain, deeper and deeper.
You were cut out of your trance when you heard loud footsteps from behind you. Harry ran towards the still zombie, wooden plank in hand, and whacked its face.
The zombie immediately fell to the floor, letting out a cold gurgling sound. Harry then proceeded to slam the plank into its head until it cracked open, spewing blood over the ground.
"Are you okay..?"
Harry was struggling to breathe. His words were just rasped out, obviously using a lot of strength just to talk. You could faintly hear the laughter, but it was slowly going away.
Harry looked at the thing he had demolished. His eyes widened and he dropped the plank. Even if it wasn't any longer, that thing was once human. He backed away, trying to remind himself that it was either y'all or the zombie.
"Y-y/n?" His breathing increased. You still hadn't answered. What was that voice? Who was that voice? What was your fault?
You felt your muscles relax as the voice went away, as well as the sad sunken life within the intruder's eyes. You nod.
"Good," he breathed a sigh of relief. "We should go. More zombies will probably come. I was thinking we should start looking for some food, then head to the safe zone afterwards."
Harry looked at you, awaiting your approval, but you didn't say anything. You were confused and frustrated at the same time.
Harry started walking towards you, your eyes still locked on the corpse a few feet in front of you. Before he reached you, you said, "Where were you? I was worried, Harry! What if something had happened to you?!"
It was true. Even if you were scared, you would never leave Harry behind. You liked him. For some while now, too. He was the last reason you had left to live.
"Not only that, but in case you haven't noticed, our only exit is blocked!"
You immediately felt bad about what you had said. You didn't mean to snap at him. You were just upset. Harry had been walking towards you before you first started talking. Now, though, he stood there. A mixture of flattery and concern plastered onto his face.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to take it out on you," you mumble, embarrassed.
"It's okay. I went looking for another exit, but I think that zombie made a new for us," he said, gesturing his hand towards the broken window.
Harry was right. Smashing the window from the inside was dangerous. Glass had already littered the floor where the zombie broke in. If it had been you or Harry, serious injuries could have incurred.
"I think I saw a super market last night down the road," Harry looked you in your e/c eyes. "You need to eat."
His voice was just so soft and gentle. Well, if he didn't have feelings for you, at least you knew that he cared.
You smiled, trying hard to fix your mistake. Harry nodded and walked to the window. "You first," he smiled.
You walked over to him and climbed up on the window sill. Worried the space wasn't big enough, you carefully broke off the extra parts of the glass surrounding the inside of the frame.
"Y/n, what're you doing that for? Just go through," Harry ushered you on. However, you weren't having any of it. Neither of you guys had any medical supplies. Getting hurt now would be a hell of a problem later.
"You're going to get hurt! Stop!" This threw you off guard, causing your hand to slip onto a glass piece. You jumped backwards onto Harry as you yelped in pain as quietly as you could. It was still kinda loud.
"Are you okay, Y/n? Oh-I'm sorry. This is all my fault," Harry apologized as he caught you. "I'll be more considerate."
It was bleeding more than you expected it to. A lot more. Your hand had encountered a big, gaping gash along the middle. You started to feel light headed from blood loss, still wrapped in Harry's arms.
Harry acted fast, tearing off a piece of his shirt near the bottom. He then put you down and sat beside you. Taking your hand in his, he started to wrap the shirt piece around your wound.
As he did this, you noticed his hand was bigger than yours. Even if you did have small wrists and long fingers, his were more lean. His slender hands emitted a comforting warmth. They looked so delicate. Oh how you wanted to hold them.
You looked up at him when he had finished. He was still holding your hand, gazing at it. An exhale escaped his mouth as he slumped over and closed his eyes.
He reached into his jean's pocket and pulled out his medicine bottle. The one he said he took when he had a headache. Only then did he let go of your hand to open the bottle.
Click! It was open. He poured out one pill by tapping it against his palm. You watched his arm raise up as he shoved the small tablet into his mouth. One swallow later and it was in his system.
"Hey, umm... tha-" you started to thank him. However, something caught you both off-guard.
Crash! You and Harry both turned around from your spots on the floor. You gasped as you saw a hoard of zombies trying to break through the decrepit wall on the opposite side of you and Harry.
Harry picked you up and pushed you through the window, wanting to get you out of danger immediately. You helped Harry through when it was his turn, but you didn't get too far.
A zombie had reached through the window and stabbed you with a piece of glass. Glass just didn't like you today, huh. It pierced through your leg and you fell down, hissing in agony.
Another zombie had grabbed your ankle while Harry tried to pull you away. There was no escaping this...
