MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S STORY (IX)

Day by day, one month, had passed. It's now entering the midsummer already which makes the temperature became so hot. Everyday Naeun goes to the hospital and teaching Taemin how to play piano. He shows such a impressive progress and even know he can played some children song. Naeun have her own locker room now as she always go to the hospital even though it's sunday or any holiday.

Taemin rarely shows such a sudden emotion change, and tantrum. He even heard whatever Naeun said. But that's only when Naeun said something, When other nurse he tends to give them a stare or even sometimes he almost shouted. Thus,makes Naeun can't probably leave the hospital and maybe she will be in here forever.

Naeun is already on her way back home when she suddenly realize that her phone is left at the hospital. She needs to go back of course. She needs her phone as there's a 'fragile file' there which makes her needs her phone and she just hope that no one saw her phone. Yes, the contract is there and she can't revealed it as she already promise.

It's almost midnight now, When she arrived at the hospital. She was greeted by the security and also 2 nurse who were in charge of duty that night.

After she had gotten her phone, she suddenly felt something wrong and somehow her foot brings her to Taemin's room. When she is closer to his room, she can hear someone asking for help and it's from m to find Taemin is sleeping but he is asking for a help and he keeps on moving. His forehead is full of his sweat already.

"Lee Taemin! Wake up!What's wrong?" Naeun said panicly and shakes Taemin's body so he can wakes up.

"Huh..huh..huh.."Taemin wakes up covered in sweat and his breath is almost run out.

"What's wrong with you?"Naeun asks worriedly and she bring her hand toward Taemin's forehead to wiped his sweat.

"Please... dont leave me and remain by my side"Taemin said and hug Naeun. Naeun feels pity and confused what's happening that makes him like this?

"I'm in here Taemin-ah, Dont worry i will be in here and i will not leave you alone"She said patted his back giving trying to make him calm.

Without them realizing, they had been like that for 10 minutes till Taemin finally calm down and broke the hug. "Taemin-ah, Let's sleep now and i will not leave you"Naeun said which Taemin obeydiently do it.

Naeun keeps on waiting Taemin until he fell asleep. When he finally fell asleep, She is about to leave, s it's already past midnight. When she is all set to left,Taemin suddenly said, "Please don't leave me... "He said while reaching his hand. But Naeun saw his still asleep, Well, is it a dream?

But Naeun being a woman she usually is,she decide to stay. Without her realizing, she also fell asleep,and with their hand interlocked.

Minho wakes up in the morning, preparing to go to the hospital as he usually do. But this morning it's all different than any other day he usually woke up to.

"Minho-ya,Let's eat breakfast together before you go to work" Minho's mom come and help her son put on his necktie.

"Omma, i dont want to eat breakfasr today, I will eat on my own at the hospital"

"Minho-ya, I know that you dont like him, But at least lets have breakfast together today, Your uncle and aunt is here too you know, They will said anything again to make your father became furious and that will make him.."

"Arasso omma,i will go down. But please after having my breakfast dont ask me any question"Minho said.

Then,both of them come down and greeted by his father , uncle and aunt. Well, they are ready to throw some words already.

"Ya! How come you're late? Are you sure you're a doctor?"

"I'm sorry, appa"Minho said and calmly goes to his seat.

"Ya.. Uri Minho is really good now. He even have breakfast with us" His aunt said.

But Minho just start eating his breakfast without bothering what his aunt said. "Minho-ya, Uncle had someone needs your help. He is much better than that Mr. Lee's son , so i guess it will be better right?"

"I'm sorry uncle,But i can't help you this time, Handling that Taemin itself is such a hard work for me"Minho calmly said.

"Choi Minho! Did you became a doctor so you can be like this? If i had known i wouldnt let you became a doctor" His father said.

"Did i became a doctor like this from the start? It's all your fault, right? And uncle, i can't help your friend. Because helping this friend of my father is indeed making me broken!" Minho said and stand up leaving the house igroning the fact that his father keeps on calling him.

Minho arrived in the hospital with such a bad mood, First he chekced on Naeun who usually have been arrived around this time. But he hadn't seen her.

"Nurse Kim, Where is Naeun? I hadnt seen her today?"

"Ah.. yesterday she came and she takes her phone but i hadnt seen her since then. I'm going to bring this breakfast to Taemin's room and i will be going home" Nurse Kim said.

"I will bring it. You can go home now nurse Kim. You've work hard"

Minho then bring the tray full of breakfast to Taemin's room. But from the glass in the door, he saw a familiar figure with Taemin. He opened the door carefully, and there they are.

Sleeping next to each other while interlocking their hand. Naeun wakes up.

"What.. are you doing?" Minho ask carefully.

"Yesterday i heard him shouting so i came and without me realizing i fell asleep here" Naeun then realize that her hand were interlocked with Taemin's. Make her pulled her hand from his hand thus makes Taemin wake up.

"Why.. why dont you call me Naeun-ah?"Minho looks onto Naeun's eyes with such a desperate eyes.

"I can handled it by myself oppa, So why would i need to call you?"

"Dr. Choi, arent you going to let me eat my breakfast?"Taemin suddenly said.

"ah.. here" Minho said and left the room. Naeun sense something is wrong so she decide to follow Minho and there they are in the rooftop.

"Why oppa?" Naeun said to Minho whose looking at the sky.

"You shouldn't do that Naeun-ah, It may harm yourself"

"No oppa. he is good and he never shows any tantrum or doing any harm to me. You shouldnt worry about me oppa just focus on doing your other job i know that after Taemin fully recovered all these hard work will get pay right"Naeun said.

"No. Stop doing this Naeun-ah. Stop doing this work and i will get you a new job at a new place"

"But why oppa? I think it's my right to work where i want and i dont think that you have the right to do it oppa. I like my work in here, why would you stopped me at this time when i have enjoyed it here? and i can protected myself so please.."

"I LIKE YOU! NO! I LOVE YOU FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS! I DONT LIKE SEEING YOU WITH THAT LEE TAEMIN! WHY CANT YOU REALIZE IT? I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO SAID THIS TO YOU!! I HAVE WAIT FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS!"

"....." Naeun goes silent. Their eyes meet.

"I love you Naeun-ah, I had been wanting to said this to you ever since a long time. 20 years had passed since we became closer than anybody and i can't hold myself from loving you since 10 years ago..."
