Lucas's pov  :
I just  arrived at crown lake academy a few minutes ago but let's go back before I even got to my new school. While he was driving me to my new school My dad me pointed out that this academy was payed for in other words don't mess up. My subconscious
instantly  wondered  to who was gonna look after my dad while I was in a boarding school and getting the best education as possible according to my father. Which also meant i could go to any collage I would want to but it was too early to think about college just yet.
Then of course my father had to remind me of my mother it was a touchy subject to me so i kind of dozed of while he was talking about my mum.

I got out the car closed the door grabbed
my suitcases then shut the hood of the car. Then with a sigh i entered the school. I set my suitcase down because I've been holding them for so long that i thought my arms where gonna drop of in the event.

Then I'm assuming who's the headteacher mr Maryweather starts talking not that I'm paying attention at all. Then i awkwardly realise that he had realised I'm 5 minutes late. Thank you lord for making it obvious to the whole school.
Then He continues on reminding us that later we have to tour the riding Chambers and tells us that theres a sistering school on the other side of the woods beyond the lake . I'm guessing that's where the girls go not that i would care as i like guys not girls.
Then he introduces our maths instructor Dr lewis. Then he hands our dorm rooms.
Then i noticed my suitcase are missing that's
Just great now i have no clothes... That's when everyone started laughing that's just great.

Room 241 i didn't wanna believe who i am sharing it with but if u want to know its none other than David copperfield the one and only in this school. I am so dreading this right now.

I was having that horrible daymear about my mother again but unfortunately it happend in real life and i regret that day and i will until the day i died

I'm sitting in the shop she owns and that's when my friend walks in. He wanted me too go with him to the abandoned church i didn't know what was with him and that abandoned church he just loved it ans still does to this day. And then i Remembered i had promised i would be home by 11 and lock up the shop. But u know i could do it later so i went with him to that abandoned church....
And they always cut short but I'm sure you'll find out what happens later cause they always continue on at the worst moments.

Moments later out of the corner of my eye i saw a leather back journal that wasn't mine but it was really intriguing to me so i went up to it opened it and started to read it.

The writing said

DEAR WHOEVER FINDS THIS BOOK MY NAME IS Richard HARBOURFORD I USED TO GOT TO Crown Lake SO I KNOW HOW TOUGH IT IS HERE BUT IF YOU CAN HANG YOUR LIFE WILL BE AMAZING
I DIDN'T FARE SO WELL BUT YOU CAN ROCK THIS PLACE ILL SHOW YOU HOW BECAUSE ITS NOT ABOUT THE RULES IN THE STUDENT HANDBOOK ILL GIVE YOU THE SECRETS ABOUT CROWN LAKE I WISH I KNOWN BUT I GET IT YOUR SUCPICOUS YOU Don't KNOW ME IF I WHERE YOU I WOULDN'T TRUST ME
BUT WHAT EVER YOU DECIDE Don't YOU DARE TELL ANYONE YOU FOUND THIS BOOK ILL KNOW AND You'll REGRET IT

THEN I CLOSED THE JOURNAl

first my mind went to what da hell was that about. And i securley put the journal behind my desk draw where nobody would looks at least i think nobody would. And that's when i decided i would go to sleep beacuse it was peaceful and i only falls asleep when ists peaceful. Of course when its 10:30 my room mate comes in and makes a large sound so i cant sleep or even fall asleep. And the he calls what i think is one of hese freinds or his stupid girlfriend from the girls crown lake academy ughh she litter geys on my nevers shes rich and the most popular girl and snobby i hate people loke that. I have all my life. But then he starts chatting shit about me and that is what i wasnt gonna take. Then he quickly hang up the phone beacuse it was time for tye anual bed check ofcourse but as soon as the person left i totally lost my shit.

I dont know why i just said that to lucas do i like him wait i cant i have a girlfriend her names sienna Mcormack but i dont feel the same way around her as i do around lucas.

Lucases pov
Thats when i had enough i went ou the room took all my stuff for the sake of anything ending up broken into pices. And i went to sleep on the couch.

Then i had one of those memories again this time it was a definite nightmare.

This is what i was told happened to my mum she had walked in the shop probably looking for me because i handnt looked the door and went home and thats when i had started to regret that decision she was hit
on the head with a crowbar by two men and killed and it was all beacuse of me. I had to relive that moment over and over again as if it wasn't bad enough finding out my mother was dead.

The next morning i had gone into my room to change and leff the bird my mothe had given me on the bedside table in my room but soon i would also regret. Because later when i came back it was broken into pecies and i had imagined one person who would want to do that. Person is David copperfield

And suddenly i have a flash back to the exact moment i haf found out my mum was dead and i was crying but then snapping back into reality a few seconds later.

So then i basically i had gotten so mad that i marched up to David and accused him of what im pretty sure he was quilty for totally quilty no other person could be capable of it and genuinely no other person would.
The i marched back into my room i share and saw all my stuff dupmed on my bed and my suitcase open now i was definitely confused confused out my mind.
Then the leather journal words kept echoing in my head so i went up to it and decided to read more i wasnt sure if this was a good idea
