Life is a ladder,
Not many make it to the top,
But you have to understand,
The ground spins,
Like a top,
Many fall off,
And hit the ground,
Others move downwards,
Others escape the crowd.

Im barely holding on,
Not even halfway there.
I try to be an example,
Cause i've been climbing all these years,
I've slipped,
I've fell,
Broke an ankle once,
Or twice,
But Imma keep climbing,
Untill god turns off the lights.
The lights that lead me up the path.
This path of Shattered Dreams,
Of broken promises,
Unfulfilled aspirations,
Liars, Cheaters, Scum.
Imma keep climbing this ladder of temptation,
Lord knows climbing this ladder ain't fun.
