"You're early." said the Grim Reaper, with a hint of surprise. A little girl was staring at the face of death with little confusion. They were both sitting at a little brown wooden table staring at each other.

"Where am I? Who are you?" she said.

They were sitting in a vast space of all white with a peaceful ambiance that ruled over the place.

"Well, you are neither here nor there. You are everywhere with everyone at this very moment. You are not home is all you need to know."

"I want to go home though."

"That's hard to do. I have to figure how did you get here because you weren't suppose be here in 80 years!"

The little girl thought to herself for a moment.

"Are you an angel?"

"I guess you can say that but enough said. I need to figure out why you are here. Stay right here."

A wooden double door abruptly appears a few feet away from the wooden table. The Grim Reaper walked towards the wooden double doors and they automatically open with nothing but pure darkness on the other side. He walked through doors and appeared in a room. There was a night light next to a little dresser. The room was pink with stuff animals everywhere. The Grim Reaper shuttered in disgust. He spotted a bed next to the dresser and found the little girl laying in it fast asleep. He checked her pulse then went back through the wooden double doors.
He came back to see the little girl hugging a soul. She was smiling so wide that her cheeks looked like they hurt. The soul let go of her and walked away into the vast place never to be seen again. The Grim Reaper smiled.

"I just met a very nice man!" she said

"I see. Well you are not dead but you seem like you came here and found what you were looking for based on your smile."

"I guess so. Will I be able to go home now? "

"You should've been back hours ago but I feel your soul is not satisfied yet."

"Hours!?"

"Yes, time is irrelevent here. You are basically not aging in here."

"Is that why you only have bones?"

The Grim Reaper looked at her crazed but laughed it off. He kneeled down to look at the little girl eye to eye.

"Well since you seem to have unfinished business here, do you know who's soul you were hugging earlier?"

The little girl smiled.

"I didn't know who that was earlier actually but he seemed so nice. He reminded of someone from home. He had a very low voice but it sounded so kind and he was very tall with a beard. He told me funny stories about little animals."

The Grim Reaper thought to himself for a moment.

"Let's go find that man again."

"Okay!"

The Grim Reaper picked up the little girl and placed her on his back.

"Hold on to me and put on this black hoodie."

Another double door appeared infront of the two but this time is was blue with gold symbols on it.

"Wait! Before we go, you never told me who you are." she said curiously

"Just call me Ted."

"Ted? Like a teddy bear?"

"Don't call me teddy bear. How about this, you can call me Teddy?"

The little girl smiled and gave Teddy a hug.
