My friends Sam and Issak often see a psychic every once in a while and they always invite me, but I never decide to go because I think the thought of someone knowing my future before I even do is a little bit creepy. Then one day, I decided,"What the heck, what do I have to lose?" So I went to this place called Madam Lola's, which my friends said to never go to. So I thought it would be cool to be the only one of my friends to have the guts to go there. So I went alone. I was actually really confident. Until I saw the entrance.
The house looked like it was made in the 1700s. On the door, there was a sign that said" Madam Lola, Fortune Teller" The stairs were very old and squeaky. I even broke a step on the way up. Now I was at the entrance. I rang the door bell, and then, a lady that looked like she was in her fifties came to the door?
"Are you Madam Lola?" I asked.
"Yes," she replied in a creaky voice " Come on in Noah"
Now that really scared me, how did she even know my name?
"Have a seat and we shall commence the reading." she said
So I did as I was told and sat down. She started off with the Moon of my hand. She told me that I would reach the stars literally. She told me that I would soon go to a college in Florida and work at NASA by the age of 27. Next she touched my life line and basically planed out my whole life. From getting married while in my thirties to having a family of 3, she told me it all. Lastly, she touched my health line. I was really concerned for this, I mean I am 139 pounds at the age of 15. Then she gave me some really good news. She told me that I might think that I may never become as skinny as I may like, but by the time I am 29, I will be skinny and I won't even notice it. I thanked her for her time and her fotune telling for me. I walked home and went to unlock my door, when I looked down, I saw a newspaper and brought it in to read. I opened up the page of the first page of the newspaper and then read the headline. It said," Today Marks the 50th Year Anniversary of Famous Fortune Teller Madam Lola's Death." I sat in awe wondering, "Then who told my fortune today?"
