Imagine you are at a gathering with your closest friends from high school,
Remembering the moments you all had shared from one another.
Times where you all used to laugh and talk about things that were cool,
Building up the bond from the beginning and just being there for each other.
.
There were those days where you would all go for an overnight,
Happily talking about life with smiles surely in your faces cherishing that night.
Or maybe that time when you all planned for a vacation to spend time together,
Never that you'll ever thought that you'll miss those days and it feels forever.
.
There were times that you all went through a complicated fight,
But nevertheless you all try to understand with all your might.
It may have caused you and your friends some pain and regret,
But the friendship remains intact in which you will never forget.
.
You had great days and you hope to go back just to enjoy all over again,
Though it's in the past all you could ever do is remember the memories you have gained.
Life has gotten a little sad as we grow up and it bothers us for a long time,
Worrying and hoping that it will get better soon with a wish from a dime.
.
We cannot expect anyone to stay through thick and thin,
We are never sure of the future and of course to everything.
Life is not forever and so is the people we meet in our everyday life,
Attachments may be there but we try our best to be strong with all our might.
.
We all thought of the people who brought us happiness will stay,
Little did we know that they will eventually leave someday.
We are not forbidden to miss our buddies from the past,
Because the beloved memories will never ever turn into dust.
.
All of our burdens may still be there but we also need to learn to let go,
Let go of those people but not the memories for us to eventually grow.
Sometimes you just gotta accept that some people only exists in your heart,
And as sad as it might sound they are not meant to stay in your life.
