After Chan found out what his sister witnessed, his protection to Sumin grew larger than before.

Hearing what Jimin had told him made her brother furious. He hated himself for being not there when the girl had to suffer all alone, she got hurt badly and Chan knew that her situation in the moment didn't make anything better.

Sumin was still unconscious on her bed and to tell the truth, Chan was relieved that the girl was worn out and that she could finally rest from all the things she went through. It still made him mad that he came this late but now he wanted to make sure that his little sister would never go through this anymore again.

The girl slowly opened her eyes before they wandered around her room. Her head hurt badly after collapsing and sleeping for many hours.

"Finally, you're up." Chan sighed out and leaned forward to touch the girl's cheek to check up on the heat. Her skin had cooled down and she was feeling better. "How are you?"

"My head hurts, and I feel like dying." Sumin said quietly and sat up to lean her back against the wall. "Did he leave?"

"Jimin? Yes, he left an hour ago." Her brother chuckled and sat down in front of her.

"How many hours did I sleep"

"Four hours. He waited for you to wake up but he was about to fall asleep, so I sent him home." Chan slid closer to Sumin and took her hand in his, stroking her cold, skinny fingers. "Jimin told me what happened here, the past year."

Her eyes shot up and Sumin gulped as her brother tried to find the words to talk to her.

"He told me everything. Everything from your graduation to Minhyun, and the pills." Chan searched for her eyes but the girl just pulled her hand away from his grip and tried to get off the bed without tumbling.

"Nothing happened."

The man shook his head and gripped her arm to pull her back closer so he can look into the dark eyes which were filled with tears now.

"Why are you lying to me? I'm your brother, remember? No secrets." The girl tried to push him away while she sobbed quietly and looked up to meet his eyes. "Why didn't you tell me? Why didn't you call me and asked for help?"

Sumin stopped moving and watched Chan when he also teared up. She never saw her brother crying before and in this moment, she couldn't stop it anymore. "Because it was already too late! Everyone tried to help, Chan. But my life is a mess. I'm a mess."

Those words hurt Chan more than ever. He never thought that his sister would fall into a hole like this and that she gave up on her life. She was done with everything and she didn't even ask for someone who could push her to the right side.

"I'm so sorry for not being here for you." Chan stuttered and wrapped his arms around her small body to hug her tightly, as if he tried to protect the girl. "Does Mom know about it?"

"N-No. I didn't see her since the Afterparty." Sumin cried and slid out of the hug to dry her face. "Chan, y-you can't tell her about it. You can't tell anybody about it, please."

The man sighed and sat down on the bed, eyeing the girl with a sad expression. "Sumin, we need to report them to the police."

Sumin shook her head and sat down in the front of his knees. Tears filled her eyes again as she begged her brother while her sobs were getting louder.

"No, please!"

"You can't let them walk round freely when they committed crimes!" The man said angrily and grabbed onto his sister's shoulders to convince her to go to the police station. "Sumin, they need to get the punishment they deserve."
