*Narrator's POV (aka me, teehee)*
-6:50am-
"fuck this shit, I wanna sleep." Pamela mumbles under her breath as the warm breeze whips around her hair.
The school doors seem heavier than usual as she pushes them out of her way and shoves through several students who clearly don't know how to open another fucking door. Several groups of high schoolers are tossing papers back and forth at each other and screaming at the top of their lungs. It's way too early for anybody to be this obnoxious and loud. To be honest, It's never an acceptable time for anybody to be this annoying.
When she reaches her every morning destination, by the stairs that lead to the second floor, everyone gives her a quick smile then carries on with their conversation. This may be a typical school morning routine for Pamela, but everything seems a little off. The smell of coffee is missing, Mykalina is no where in sight and Jack happens to smile at Pamela longer than he probably should've. She finds herself staring back at him but with little to no expression on her face. She doesn't bother questioning it, it didn't seem like much of anything worth questioning.
"But Joey, she totally wants me." Jonah's smirk fills his face and his eyes widen when he speaks.
"Jonah, literally don't talk to me until I've had coffee." Joey's eyes are barley open and his voice is extremly raspy and a bit annoyed.
"And where in the bloody hell are you going to get coffee?" Jake basically laughs in his face.
"From your mom." Joey flips off jake and the annoyance seems more genuine than just a bad morning without coffee.
"Doesn't Mykalina usually bring you coffee? Where is she?" Kyliah comments.
"Not here." Joey states as if it's obvious..which it is. He pulls his hood over his head and goes to take a seat on the dirt covered stairs.
"Wait but who da fek wants who? What'd I miss?" Pamela finally takes in the conversation and looks around, awaiting an answer.
"He's convinced Mykalina likes him." Kyliah rolls her eyes and then turns her attention towards Jonah.
"She clearly wants me." Jake playfully responds and opens his arms out wide and does a small spin as if suggesting they check him out. He ends it with a simple curtesy but nobody is really amused besides Jack, who is attempting to hide his laughter.
Joey lifts his head from the palms of his hands and starts to discretly listen to the conversation.
"Seriously though, we we're texting last night and she told me I had a nice smile." Jonah has a joyful expression on his face as if reminiscing the conversation.
"Jonah you know how to spell?" Kyliah laughs before finishing her attempt at a joke.
"Jonah your smile makes you look like a friggin Jack-o-Lantern." Pamela teases.
"Ha ha, very funny guys. Fuck both of you." Jonah gives them a sarcastic smile and lifts a middle finger for each of them.
The group stays quiet for a minute, which is just extremly unusual. Eventually Jonah takes a seat next to what looks like a sleeping Joey and Jake sits on a desk nearby. Kyliah's looking at pictures of Zayn on her phone and Pamela scans the room silently insulting everyone in her sight.
"Oh hey Pam, you excited for chemistry?" Jack says sarcastically, knowing Pamela's dreaded hatred for that class based on her constant complaining to him during that period.
"F chemistry, F you, and F ya grandbabies." she turns towars him and there's a hint of humor tracing her words.
Jack bursts into laughter, leaning over and holding his rapidly rising and falling stomach. He begins to respond to her but the bell rings and the herd of sascooch students begin trampleling over each other. Jack and Pamela stand against the wall beside the stairs. Joey and Jonah don't even budge. Jake stays planted on the desk, Kyliah lifts her eyes from her phone and looks at Pamela to wait to see if she was going to her locker or straight to class.
