You Did It Once Again

Skies are dark it’s time for rain,

I’m standing by the window pane,

My heart is crying in pain,

But I’m okay, I’m not insane.

He tells me she’s just a friend,

Tries to convince me as best as he can,

I’m not angry, I’m not distant,

I’m just trying to understand.

You don’t really comprehend,

You don’t listen, you’re arrogant,

You dominate the conversation,

I don’t see our real communication.

I feel my life is condemned,

I want to shout “DAMNED!”

It brings out serious depression,

It’s too late to make correction.

She said “Not again?”

I said “Yes, he did it once again”,

Perhaps this time it will be the end,

From now on, he’s no longer my man.

So, I take a pen,

Hold it in this hand,

I want to write a plan,

And leave it unexplained.
