The next part of their training was a little less physical. It involved different spectrums to fully prepare them for bonding. Physical was always the first step just to prepare the next steps. Since they were trying to run and find each other that triggered the next part. The mental aspect.
Just because they could communicate mentally it didn't mean it was ready. So they followed both their fathers to a hall that was mainly white. They reach the end and Jimin's father turned to the two. "This part is mentally stressful, you two are gonna sit in this small room and you'll have to encounter small trials."
Yoongi's father spoke next. "No matter what. You two can't give up. These are just trials, they won't harm you in any way."
Yoongi nodded along with Jimin. The omega seemed nervous and the alpha could sense it. Without a second Yoongi grabbed Jimin's hand and the boy jumped but felt more calm at the touch.
Jimin's father noticed and he hummed. "I'm glad to see you two getting along." He said before he grabbed the door handle and opened it. "Two hours...there are instructions in there for the both of you." He said.
Yoongi's father let them walk in before he spoke. "Good luck..." His voice had no remorse in it making Yoongi scowl slightly. They closed the door and Yoongi let out a deep sigh and turned to Jimin who just stood there.
"Let's get this over with shall we?" He asked.
Jimin hummed and squeezed Yoongi's hand a little tighter. "Okay."
Yoongi hummed and led Jimin over to the table he saw in the middle table. He sat him down and he made sure he was settled before the paper that was set on the table caught his eye. He picked it up and read it out.
"Welcome to the mental training. This process is gonna strengthen the mental bond between the two...there are a pair of headphones on the table. Jimin, put these headphones on." He said before he paused to grab the noise cancelling headphones and handed them to Jimin. The blind boy grabs them and puts them on. Yoongi inspects if they're on right before continuing with the message. "Once the headphones are on...push the button on the table."
Yoongi tilted his head as the message stops there. He then looks to the button, of course it was this ominous red button. He sighed and turned to Jimin. "Are you ready?" He asked.
Jimin turned to where he assumed Yoongi was and nodded. He gave a small tight smile but he seemed nervous. Yoongi frowned before he gently squeezed Jimin's shoulder. "It's okay we can get through this..."
Jimin nodded and faced forward allowing him to start. Yoongi stared at him before he looked to the button and took a second before he pressed it. The second he did that Jimin jumped when loud shrill sounds were blasting in his headphones. He furrowed his eyebrows and held the headphones tempted to just pull it off. He couldn't though, he couldn't fail this too.
The alpha was concerned, Jimin looked in pain and the message he read was no help because it only informed him to put the headphones on Jimin. He's thinking desperately what to do and he frowned. "Jimin I'm gonna turn it off." He said in worry but as he reached for the button Jimin grabbed his wrist and his clenched eyes opened and he shook his head.
"We need to get through this!" He shouted unsure about his volume of his voice. Yoongi stared at him before he sighed and nodded. He thought about it again, this was a mental strengthening trial. He moved the chair Jimin was sitting in and kneeled in front of him. Before Jimin could react Yoongi pulled Jimin close so his forehead was against Yoongi's
They both understood what they needed to do now.
Both of them closed their eyes and focused. It wasn't hard for Yoongi to try and focus on communicating but the obstacle was Jimin's inability to hear due to the loud noises against his ears. Yoongi knew he had to try though.
Jimin...hear me...
Nothing.
Focus on me please...
Nothing.
Yoongi bit his lip and opened his eyes and he saw how stressed out he was. Yoongi frowned before he tried even harder.
Jimin, please.
Jimin froze feeling something different. It was a weird sense almost as if he could...see?
"....y-yoongi..." He said.
Yoongi opened his eyes and he smiled for a second, he must have been getting somewhere. He quickly tried again.
Speak to me mentally Jimin...
The omega is silent but he smiles softly as he reached up for his face. His hands gently caressed his jaw and cheek. He let our a happy sigh as those loud noises were now gone. He could only hear Yoongi.
I hear you...
Yoongi smiled widely and ignored the fact Jimin was touching his face. He figured it was just for him to confirm Yoongi was still there.
We did it...
Yoongi...your hair...
I know it's fluffy, huh?
Well yeah...but...
Jimin frowns. His normal inability to see was changing, he didn't know what this feeling was but it was almost like he saw his hair. He didn't know for sure though because never in his life has he seen.
Yoongi looked to him as if he was contemplating something.
What is it.
I...see your hair...it's natural...
Yoongi widened his eyes at that and stood in shock. He was right, his hair was his natural hair color. Black as the night sky and never ever touched with any hair color.
Let's not get too excited...
Am I wrong?
...no
Jimin is shocked himself and he feels slightly overwhelmed. He removes the headphones and he just hears the silence of the room and he can feel the awkward tension. He eventually clears his throat.
"Yoongi...I've never had the ability to see in my life..." He said softly.
Yoongi looked to him and he tilted his head. "Well it seems to me...not only did you strengthen our mental strength, but you've also seen something for the first time Park Jimin..."
So it's as usual a filler BUT some extra drama added in 😎😎
Tell me what you thought!!
Also vote and that stuff!
Thanks!!
