The day had passed by without a hitch until sarah's mom walked into her daughters room to see the little girl she had raised hanging by her neck. Time stopped and her blood ran cold as she ran towards her daughter and slowly managed to get her little girl down. She wasnt even blue but she wasnt breathing so her mom did the only thing she knew, and started CPR until she was breathing , Then call 911, after a moment she noticed something white catch her eye, a small note swayed as a breeze blew through the window. She grabbed the paper and slowly read it as tears welled up in her eyes. The note was a goodbye letter wrote before she committed suicide.
" I'm sorry mom, i know you will be the first to read this. I never meant for this to happen, but this is your fault.
I had too much, everytime i was compared to my older sister felt like i was being stabbed and the neverending bullying at school made me depressed and no one ever saw how i changed. I got more depressed as days went on and i didnt want to live anymore. After my father died, you became abusive and when you hit me up for the first time you lost any trust you gained.
I got to the point where i hated you, with the constant pressure to be the 'perfect daughter' so i decided i don't want to live anymore.
Goodbye..
From your mistake,
SarahHer mom dropped the note to the floor as she recounted the time she had compared sarah to her sister, the time she raised her hand at her in blind rage, and the time she came home crying from being bullied. All she could do now is listen To the faint call of an ambulance in the distance as she brushed a section of her curly red hair from her forehead with her hand.
After the paramedics loaded sarah into the ambulance, her mom road the entire trip to the hospital in silence thinking about what she did and how she didn't notice the subtle changes in her behavior, like the times she would go to her room without a word and how she would go out even in the hottest weather in sweatshirts and jeans, no matter how hot it was. Or how she would pull away when someone came near her arms.
Her mom felt saddened that she didnt see anything wrong, she hated how blind she was to the problems with the way her life continued.
The rest of the ride was spent in silence as the tears of sadness for her daughter and tears of hate against herself streamed down her face
I feeling of regret and sorrow mixed within her heart as her mind raced, thinking of her daughter
