I saw my granddaughter running towards me with a picture in her hand.

"Grandma! Grandma!" She said with half of confusion and excitement in her voice.

I hummed in response.

She showed me the picture she was holding, My eyes widen in shock but immediately started to tear up.

"W-where did you get this, my granddaughter ?" I said stuttering.

"Mom Ella said that I should clean your room and I saw this, She looks handsome grandma who is she? your friend? but you guys are kissing here, do friends do that too?" She said while looking at the picture slightly tilting her head like she's solving something.

My eyes widen in shock again and I got the picture out of her hands but she continued,

"Is that grandpa? Well, she's a girl did she turned in to a boy? but she doesn't look like a grandpa at all."

 I sighed at the statement.

"Well, you know my granddaughter, she's the one who gave me true love that your grandfather couldn't." A tear escaped my eyes.

She was about to ask another question when suddenly I heard her mom calling her.

"Can you tell me your story next time grandma? My mama Ella is calling me bye grandma!" I smiled and nodded.

I looked at the picture once again and smiled while my tears were dropping at the picture.

"Why do you need to go up and leave me huh? I hate you for that. But remember that you'll always be in my heart even if you were the one that got away."
