Today he was just watching me, listening to me. Any other day he would talk all night, but today he kept quiet.

My name is Tara Hasan. Aron and I are the same when it comes to our life choices.

We both grew up in America and moved to Korea. I'm a trainee at Pledis and Aron volunteered to teach me Korean since I still wasn't very good at it.

"Done," I turned my paper around and slid it in front of him. He had me writing this week.

He picked it up and looked it over, "Not bad. You're getting better everyday."

"Thank you," I nodded then stretched my arms above my head. I saw his eyes dart between me and the paper.

"Aron is there something you want to tell me?" I rest my elbows on the table.

He sat back his seat and shook his head, "No, why?"

I sighed, "Never mind. So how'd I do?"

"If I gave you a grade," he thought for a minute. "I'd give you an eighty or eighty five."

"Cool," I stood up. "Not to bad for a beginner, in my book anyways," I grabbed my jacket from the back of the chair.

"For a beginner," he stood up as well, "It helps that you're smart."

"I guess I'll see you Thursday?" I held out my hand.

"Yeah," he shook it, "Thursday."

I smiled and turned to walk out of the room. I got to the door when he called after me.

"Tara?" I turned back around, "Would you...um... Are you hungry?"

"Uh," I checked the time. "Yeah, I could get something."

He smiled. "Cool," Aron jogged across the room to meet me and we walked out of the studio together.

"How's training going?" He asked me as we walked.

"It's difficult at times, but overall it's more fun than I've had in a while," I looked to the ground and smirked.

"It's good that you're having fun with it. Some people rush into things like this, not realizing all of the work you have to put into it," he glanced at me.

I nodded. We hadn't really talked that much, mostly just lessons. I talked to Minhyun's girlfriend Raiga all the time, but now with her career taking off, she doesn't have the time anymore.

We went into a restaurant he recommended and he had to order for me. Since our waiter only spoke Korean.

"Thanks," I tucked some hair behind my ears, but it disobeyed and fell back into place. I pulled my sleeves over my fingers and shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

"No problem," he smiled then stretched. He looked around the room and then back to me. "Do you feel okay?"

"Yeah, I've just been really busy lately and haven't got a lot of sleep," I nodded.

The waiter came back with our order and sat it down in front of us. I gave her a small smile and a nod. Aron said thank you and she bowed slightly before leaving the table.

"Does she know who you are?" I smirked.

"Yeah. We come here a lot though so it's almost a third home," he smiled.

"Ah, I see," I picked up my chopsticks, which was surprisingly the easiest part to learn.

"What?" He laughed.
