Voice: It's Kaden Guardian here, Trailblazer of the First Fort...The Head Of Heirs told me to record my time here as a trainee for the White Palace Throne...three sixty second trainee...I am sitting here under the throne next to Madam HOH. It's the birthday of King Alair of Cloud City. Oh my gosh...here he comes!

Extravagant music plays in the background as we get a view of the procession lead by knights and maidens, followed by King Alair. He walks with an air of arrogance, dressed in scarlet and gold. The head of heirs noticed Kaden's activities disdainfully.

Madam (whispers off screen): Put that thing down now, Kaden Guardian. You are to record your training sessions and the might of the military...not such dire luxuries of the court.

Kaden: Oh no, I am sorry madam...give me a moment...

(loud hushes and pushes are heard)

then silence.

Kaden: Hey...the HOH kicked me out of the court...for recording, it seems. I am in the garden behind the palace right now. No one's here, everyone's in the palace halls for the ceremony. Okay so I am going to keep this recorder on this bush right here..yes, it's stable...i hope my face is focused...

(five minute later)

Kaden: ....yeah so that is how I got into training. I still have a few weeks left before I can set foot on the battlfield...but I do miss my Guardianship Commitment so terribly. I was in charge of a young human girl. Her name is Rachel. I guess it's okay to say her name because there are many Rachel's down there...but of course you'll know if you check my profile in the Golden Library (snickers)...she was a special one...she was the only human in our sector who didn't have a single knot in her lifeline.

Every human has a lifeline. They are strung neatly in the Iron Tower...it's a wonderful place, nothing like it...huge...Each lifeline has a Guardian when its born. The Guardian stays if the life is still in mortal danger, or goes if everything seems to be fine...oh my gosh a white dove! come here little birdie...oh it flew away...

Where was I? Yes..Guardian's pave paths in a humans life and make it better. They can either appear as human for a few minutes..but you won't remember who they were after that..Guardian's can also play with the conscience, but only to a limit...somehow, i crossed that limit..but i don't think it's safe to mention that here.

The screen shows a huge tall and wide tower that seemed so big it didn't seem to have a start or end. It is grey and made of iron. Huge gates bolt the entrance and tall fences run around the vast expanse.

Kaden: Yeah that's the Iron Tower...sometimes...lifelines get knotted, signifying that there are major problems..one or two knots are fine..but three or more..lets not talk about that..then the--

Voice: KADDEEENN!!

The recorder falls and a crack is heard...the screen shows only the stone floor, but the HOH's and Kaden voice's are clear.

Madam: You have failed to obey my orders! You are a traitor to the empire! Begone with you! I will inform the HighLord myself to dispose of you immediately!

Kaden: Madam, I'm so sorry..I won't repeat this...I''ll permanently erase the videos-

Madam: No! Kaden, you are dismissed! Go back home! Or I'll-

Loud sirens echo throughout the land, like those of a human ambulance...red lights flash ewerywhere, pointing towards the Iron Tower. A single room in the Iron Tower glows bright red..

Kaden: Oh no, a lifeline just got more than two knots..which one is it?

Madam: Oh god...stay here Kaden, I'll see you in your room after this mess is cleared up.

Madam walked towards the Iron Tower gate and granted permission. When she was given permission, Kaden slipped inside like a silent cat on a moonless night. He ran towards the red room, swift and agile, some kind of strong force drawing him towards it. Strangely, he knew the route to the room off by heart, but he had been to the Iron Tower only once before...little did he know that it was the remnants of an old connection...

For when he reached the room, he saw many lifelines. One of them had five knots. And over the lifeline, glowed one name.

Rachel

Kaden: Oh no.
