A soft wailing sounded in Tartarus. Iapetus was sent by Tartarus himself to hunt down what the noise and to destroy it. As the Titan drew closer, the noise grew louder. it sounded like a... a baby human? As he was searching, he tripped over something.

No, not something, someone. He turned around to find a young hellhound, about the size of a puppy, curled around a... an infant? A baby girl? Impossible! But, here she was, crying. Tartarus shook. Something about this child wasn't right. He could tell right away she was a demigod, but that wasn't the scary part. No parents. she should have died from the fall. How in his own name did she get there? It scared him, but he couldn't kill her. No. He instructed Iapetus to raise the child, instead. Besides, he had other things to worry about.

Iapetus picked up the child as the young hellhound yapped excitedly beside him. He clothed the child with a scrap of the fabric of his clothes.

"Y'know, pup, I can't really call this girl just "Girl"... How about Agatha?" The pup stared blankly at him. "... that's a no. How about Gorgophone? No, too long. Amynta? Maybe not. Aikaterina?" The puppy yipped. "Okay, Aikaterina it is!" He started walking, baby in his arms. Something told him that this girl would thrive in Tartarus. As he wandered around with the child, Kelli, the ever so annoying Empousa, joined by him.

"What's this? You have a child with you? How cute!"

Iapetus sighed and turned to face her. "Kelli, I... I know nothing about being a parent."

"And...?"

"I... I need some help."

Kelli grinned. "Four words I never thought I'd hear. Fine, I'll help," she said.

"Who said I needed your help?"

"If you'd rather I didn't..."

"Never mind. Come on." And, hellhound by their side, they walked off through Tartarus.

Just so you know, guys, the names listed above are names I took time searching up. Gorgophone is a daughter of Perceus. Amynta means "Defender". Aikaterina means "Pure". So, after careful consideration, I chose Aikaterina. I'll pick out a nickname soon enough...
