Faint noises of birds and the ocean began to sound clear to Laiba's ears as she regained her consciousness. bright rays of sunlight shined in her dark orbs as she opened them. she then lifted her hand and held it in front of her face to block the brightness as she lifted herself onto her elbows, groaning softly.
"Oh! You are awake!" A male's soft and angelic voice made its way in her ears. her eyes quickly shot open as she gasped, snapping her head in Jimin's direction.
the blonde haired male smiled softly at the female, placing the stuff that was in his hands down on the sandy ground before looking at her again. "it is alright, ma'am. i won't hurt you."
but those were not the words the female wanted to hear. Instead of responding to the male, she immediately stood up from the ground and clenched her fists as she glared daggers at the male.
"who are you?! what happened to the plane?! where is my family?!" she started to yell at him, tears forming in her eyes.
"calm down please! i will answer all of your questions once you have calmed down." He responded, raising his arms slightly as he took a step forward.
she stepped back immediately, yelling "DON'T COME NEAR ME!" at the male before bursting into uncontrollable weeps and falling down to her knees.
jimin sighed at the sight of the woman's sunken state. He just stood in his place and stared at her before picking the firewood that he had collected and moving to another spot.
"The plane crashed, lady. I don't know where your family is. it seems like we were the only ones that made it out." said jimin as he sat himself down on the sand.
she sniffled, not being able to hold her weeps in. "but..how? where did everyone go?" she asked him, her hands gripping tightly on the shirt she was wearing.
"listen, I don't know okay? I can't find my brother either. but, I do feel like they left without us because I only saw a few bodies in the plane when I was trying to escape." the blonde replied, placing rocks on one place on the ground.
she averted her gaze from the ground and looked at jimin as she heard the sound of rocks and sticks. "What are you doing?" she asked out of curiosity, wiping her tears away.
he glanced at her before responding to her question. "surviving. and you should be doing that too if you wanna stay alive until someone gets here."
she turned to him completely, tilting her head to the side and furrowing her eyebrows. "wait, you expect me to stay here?! and-" she paused, touching her face and gasping when not feeling her glasses. "I LOST MY GLASSES!" she yelled, placing her hand on her forehead.
at first jimin didn't say anything about her sudden change of mood, but when she mentioned her glasses he burst into laughter and shook his head. "ahh you are so not going to survive." He mumbled as quietly as he could, building a firepit in the process.
"where did you learn all of this from anyway?" she asked, keeping her distance from him.
"I really think you should get up and start looking for food instead of taking my interview, miss whatever your name is." he replied, now getting a tiny bit annoyed as the sun went down.
"Laiba." she said. "My name is Laiba. and I don't wanna talk to you anyway. I was just being nice." she added, getting up from the ground and glaring at him. "Also, i'm not staying here with you either!"
And with that said, she started to stomp away as anger built up inside her. "I'm gonna find a way out of here and I won't even take you with me!"
Jimin chuckled softly, smiling to himself once the female was away and continuing to build the firepit. "I'm jimin by the way!" he shouted.
"COULDN'T CARE LESS!" she shouted back, continuing to walk away until there was nothing but water in front of her.
he laughed, shaking his head at the female's innocence and placing some firewood in the middle of the firepit. "bet you won't last five minutes out there on your own, princess."
