Time seemed to slow down for the girl, as the room around her erupted in voices of anger and fear. Ivi's eyes drifted from her brother, who was barking orders at his team, to Sam, who was berating Simmons to take them to Bumblebee. Did they have time for any of this? Earthquakes were rolling through the facility, and she could only hope that it would take a while for the Decepticons to get through. The Allspark was here, so where were the Autobots? Her eyes widened and she met Sam's gaze. There was an Autobot here. "You got to take me to my car!" Sam hissed, following Simmons, and Ivi dashed to his side.
"Please, he will know what to do with the Cube," she begged, but it was in vain.
Simmons kept his back to them, loading some sort of ammo into a rather large gun. Could the man actually carry that? "Your car? It's confiscated," he finally said.
"Well, unconfiscate it!" Ivi rebuked, planting her hands on her hips.
"We do not know what will happen if we let it near this thing!"
"You don't know," Sam shot.
"Well, maybe you know, but I don't know!"
Oh that was such a cop out! There were evil robot aliens trying to get the Allspark, ones that were fine with killing humans, and Simmons was William to let that happen because he didn't know what Bumblebee would do. Ivi frowned lowly, and Will came over, looking between her and the agent. Then, the girl couldn't help but take a step back at what unfolded before her: her brother took out his gun and pushed Simmons onto the hood of a truck, the cold metal pressed into the agent's chest. "Woah!" The other agent shouted, and the S7 soldiers pointed their guns at Will's team.
"There's an alien war going on and you're going to shoot me?"
"Well, we didn't ask to be here," her brother hissed.
Simmons eyes went a bit wide as he shouted, "I'm ordering you under S7 jurisdiction-"
"S7 don't exist!" Epps shouted from behind his rifle.
"And we don't take orders from people that don't exist!"
Simmons deserved what was happening, but they really didn't have time for this. "I'm going to count to five!" Simmons warned.
"Well I'm going to count to three," her brother threatened, turning the safety off his gun.
"Simmons?" The Secretary of Defense called, "I'd do what they say. Loosing really isn't an option for these guys."
The agent seemed to weigh options before fixing Sam and Ivi with a glare. "All right, you want to rest the fate of the world in the kid's Camaro? That's cool."
He was still breathing heavy as Will released him, but the teens were already racing to the door, not wanting to waste any time to get to Bumblebee. As they arrived at the room, Ivi felt the wind leave her lungs. They were torturing Bee. Arms with electronic rods on them zapped at the Autobot, eliciting all types of cries from him. "No!" She shouted and ran forward to stop them.
"Stop!" Sam yelled, pushing some of the people away.
It took a bit of effort -and she nearly resorted to throwing some guy into a wall- but they finally got everyone to stop hurting the Autobot. "They didn't hurt you, right?" Sam asked, looking between the crowd of people and Bumblebee.
Ivi scowled: no, they were just tickling him. Hadn't Sam heard how much pain Bee had been in? "Yeah!" Bumblebee shouted through his radio, pulling down his mask.
The Autobot readied his canons, dead silent as he stared at the humans. Ivi inched a bit closer and pat his knees; the only thing she could reach and that wasn't a glowing gun. He lifted up the flap of his mask just a bit and Ivi smiled at him. "It's okay, they aren't going to touch you anymore."
The Autobot made a soft electronic chirp and she backed away as he stood up. "Come on, we are going to take you to the Allspark," Sam promised, shooting a grateful look at Ivi.
She nodded back at him before they started running again, leading Bumblebee to the giant chamber where the Cube was. It glowed gently at their return, and Ivi felt the air hum with low vibrations. Was it alive? Her questions went unasked as Bee places his large hands upon its surface, pressing something softly. "Oh he's doing something!" Someone gasped as they all took a step back.
A flash of light went through the room and the Cube began to... get smaller. How something that massive became a cube smaller than Bee's hand was beyond her, but he made a 'woah' sound and almost smiled at her. "Message from Starfleet, Captain. Let's get to it," Bumblebee said.
"He's right," Will spoke up, a familiar steel entering his eyes.
He wasn't Will anymore. He was Captain Lennox again. "We stay here, we're screwed with Megatron in the other hangar," he continued, and Ivi smiled as she realized he had believed her.
"Mission city is twenty-two miles away. We need to sneak the cube out of here and hide it somewhere in the city."
Last time Ivi checked, Mission City was a bit further than that, but she let it go as he ordered them all to move out. Bumblebee gently placed the Allspark into her hands, where it tingled, giving her little electrical shocks as he transformed and they climbed in. Ivi let Sam and Mikaela sit in front, opting to put the seat belt around the Allspark in the back as they sped out of the dam. "Is the cube okay?" Sam asked as they got out into the open with the sun bearing down on them.
"Yup, just fine," Ivi said, eyes watching as something started to glitter on the horizon.
A few minutes passed before the girl saw a familiar and relieving sight. It was a semi truck with red and blue flames followed by a green ambulance, a black truck, and a silver car. The rest of the Autobots. "There's Optimus!" Sam shouted, and Bee chirped in response.
He had probably known for a little bit that they were on their way. They were a team after all. Ivi smiled gently as the Autobots turned around and got behind them. After a little bit, some more cars made their way behind the procession, and Ivi felt a bit of worry as a siren went off. "Oh, no no no no no!" Sam shouted, looking behind them.
"What?" Mikaela asked, but Ivi already had a sinking feeling as to what was happening.
"It's the cop from before!"
...and that confirmed it. She pushed herself up and looked out the rear windshield, watching Optimus and Iron Hide position themselves so that the Decepticon couldn't get through. However, at that moment a tracker like truck turned into a hulking mass of brown Decepticon and hurtled straight at Optimus. "Oh my god," Ivi whispered, and the Cube glowed brightly next to her.
"No, not you," She whispered, and the glowing stopped.
It was definitely sentient; that's great. Optimus transformed and tumbled with the Decepticon, falling of the highway they had turned onto. Ivi turned back, her breathing strained. He would be fine, right?  Why was she even worried? Optimus was the leader of the Autobots, surely he has fought worse than that. Yeah, of course. The girl turned her attention to the fact that they had reached downtown, the skyscrapers now looming over them. The procession stopped in the middle of one street and they all climbed out, Ivi clutching at the Cube. "Sweetheart," Bee called, holding out his hand.
Oh good, the girl detached the Allspark from her and deposited it in Bumblebee's hand, watching in awe as he puts it away in some sort of storage spot. Weird. Why can't human's store stuff inside their bodies? Quickly, her mind was disgusted by pictures of how that could work and Ivi turned her attention to Will and Epps, watching as her brother handed the man an old type of walkie-talkie. They seemed to banter a bit as she ran over, until a jet suddenly flew over them. Very low. "F-22 at twelve o'clock," Epps shouted, and Will nodded, beginning to bark orders at the rest of the soldiers.
Her stomach started to do twirls as Ivi listened to Epps try and contact the plane over and over. Nothing, not even a blip. The girl squinted at the plane as it did another pass, and her heart stopped. There were more alien hieroglyphics on it. She started to step back as Iron Hide suddenly shouted. "Its Starscream!"
A Decepticon. Great. The girl raised her hands as Iron Hide and Bumblebee darted forward, using a truck trailer to block them from the plane's sight. But it was too late, the Decepticon tired a missile and Ivi used her power to raise a shield, but it didn't extend around the Autobots, except for Ratchet and Jazz as they were behind her. "Incoming!" Iron Hide called as the missile hit the metal trailer, sending them flying backwards as shrapnel went flying.
Her shield held, but the impact sent all of them flying, and her body was on fire as it scraped the asphalt. Ivi opened her eyes to see ash floating down, and she pushed herself up with a slight ringing in her ears. That had sucked. Thankfully, any wounds instantly healed themselves and she stood with little difficulty. Hopefully no one else was hurt. Will got up next to her and pushed Epps. "What the hell was that?" He asked.
"What are you talking about?"
"It fired at us!"
Epps shook his head, "F-22 pilots will never fly below buildings. That isn't friendly, that's alien."
Ivi left them to assess the damage and carefully ran to Sam, who was almost green as he watched Bumblebee. She shook his arm, but he didn't look at her. "Bee, your legs!"
The girl whipped her head around to see Bumblebee crawling towards them. From the knee below was gone, probably blown off in the explosion. Tears pricked at her eyes; why hadn't she stretched her shield to surround him and Iron Hide? Now's not the time to cry, she scolded herself, she needed to help Bee. "Ratchet!" Ivi called, but the Autobot was too far away.
"I'm going to get help!" She called, but he just made a hurt noise and held out the Cube to Sam.
"I'm not going to leave you," Sam whispered.
Bee was in a lot of pain. Ivi knelt by him and pressed a hand to his head, feeling her power drum deep inside her as she closed her eyes. She felt it leave her quickly and make its way through his body, causing the Autobot to whine a bit, but it would be over soon. Her power burned the tubes where his... blood was leaking from the open wounds, and she sealed all nerve ends, hopefully numbing him until Ratchet could help him. Ivi finally reopened her eyes to Bumblebee watching her with his electric blue orbs. She patted his head before backing up, trying to find one of the other Autobots to help. He needed some time alone with Sam. Ivi sprinted over just as Jazz tore off the turrets on the Decepticon tank firing on them. "Decepticon punk!" He shouted, jumping down and landing next to her.
"Hey lil' thing!" He shouted, laughing as the Decepticon burst into flames.
She smiled and brought up her shield to protect them from the flying chunks of metal. "How's it going over here?"
Jazz shrugged and got out of the way as another Decepticon arrived, shooting all of them. "It's Megatron! Retreat!" He cried, picking her up gently as he ran a bit away. However, luck was in short supply, as the hulking gray mass of pointed edges and razor teeth that was the Decepticon leader picked up Jazz and flew off to a tall building with both of them. Ivi gasped at the distance to the ground, but ignored it as Jazz tried to escape Megatron's grip. "That all you got!" He yelled, trying to free his gun and shoot the leader, but he was stuck.
"Come here, little cretin," Megatron growled, his red eyes piercing Ivi, causing her to freeze like a deer trapped in headlights.
Was he talking to her? The leader grinned, a foul sight with all his shark like teeth. "You want a piece of me?" Jazz screamed, trying to distract Megatron.
To her horror, Ivi watched as Megatron put one large hand on Jazz's head and one on his leg, and she knew what he was about to do. The girl had to do something! Ivi let her power come back once more, watching the gold stream from her as she felt her feet leave Jazz's shoulder just so she was hovering in front of Megatron's face. "Hey ugly!" Ivi hissed as she held out her hand.
She had never done this before, only thought about it, so who knew if it was even possible, but she had to try. The girl concentrated on a golden sword appearing in her hand, gasping as cool metal touched her skin in a golden glow. Oh he was in trouble now.
