My mom decided to drive me to school even though I can still drive with one foot like I did before. She kept on telling me that I didn't have to go to school if I didn't want to, but I wanted to.
When I got to school I was still nervous as much as I was on the first day of school. I tried not to be because if was my choice to go to school.
My mom walked me in and I pretended to be mad about it, but I was actually really happy that she was walking me in. She wheeled me in the room with my wheel chair. I was fine with that because I still didn't learn how to use it. I could see that the kids were trying not to stare, but I saw them looking out of the corner of there eye. I didn't really mind though because I would do the same thing. When I got to my desk my mom gave me a kiss on my forehead and left. It was so awkward when she left because the whole class was silent and I still felt people starring at me from the corner of their eye.
"Hi Luna!" Said Mrs London. "Hi" I whispered. "How are you?" "ummmmm good I guess." "Well thats good. We are having a review on how gravity affects our daily lives." I loved learning about space and gravity and how there are many things beyond Infinity that are totally a mystery to us. I said okay trying not to smile, but she knew that was my favorite thing to learn about. On the first day she had us take a test telling what we liked to learn about and gravity was what I put.
Then lunch came, I was kinda happy but sad because I didn't know who I was gonna hang out with. Abigail and Pierce probably didn't want to hang out with me anymore. I still had to go to lunch anyway, so I did. Mrs. London rolled me down the hall through the offices all the way to the lunch room. She asked me where I wanted to sit, but someone interrupted her. The voice was deep but it told me a lot about that person. It sounded sort of familiar but I just couldn't figure it out. Hopefully whoever it was will be my friend and hangout with me. I was starting to get so desperate for a friend other than the teacher. So I looked behind me and I couldn't believe my eyes. It was........
