3rd person PoV
Rachel sat in the driver's seat of the car. She was driving home alone at night. She was going about 60 miles per hour down the highway when her phone rang. She looked down to find it in her purse. That was her first mistake. When she looked up a car was headed straight at her. Then she made her second mistake. She tried to avoid the car. Both cars veered in the same direction. Rachel's right and the other car's left. The cars rammed against each other. The front left side of Rachel's car crumpled and jammed against her leg. Right up to the knee. It ground the leg and she heard bones snap and flesh rip. Then her head hit the steering wheel and she blacked out. When she woke up paramedics and a fireman were prying the door off her car. They lifted her out if the car and onto a stretcher when she woke up again. She looked at her leg and saw that it was almost severed. The torn flesh bled freely and fractured bone was clearly visible. Then consciousness left her again.
