Jimin didn't know when it started. But he found himself falling deeper into the neighbors charm. Something about him was attractive, endearing, hypnotizing.

Maybe it was the cute gummy smile he had, or how his body bounced when he let a laugh out.

Or the fact that he looked like a tired kitty all the time, and acted like so.

It could be the way he looks at him. With such caring eyes, yet they held no pity for him. He saw him as an ordinary human, and not someone who was sick and slowly dying.

Or it was their random little conversations they were having for two weeks now. Talking about their hobbies, their likes, dislikes, favorites, fears. It was fun. Never once mentioning the fact that Jimin was sick. Because he knew the older had already figured it out, but he never asked what or why. It made Jimin feel his age. It made him enjoy his days a little bit more.

It could also be because he was the only person around his age that he has ever talked to. And enjoyed, a lot.

He didn't know what it was exactly, but he woke up every day, grabbed his phone, and didn't hesitate to either text him first or read the good morning text he was sent.

Even just a simple good morning was enough to make him smile for the rest of the day. To make him feel all giddy and happy.

Today was no different. He received a text from him, and soon after, a face chat call. Not even hesitating to answer, the younger sat on his bed and hit the green button. His own image popped up, and he could see his hair knotted and a mess, his eyes swollen from just waking up, and his cheeks rosy.

On the other side of the screen, he could see the raven haired male, covered in his blue bed sheets as his eyes were trained in the picture of Jimin, because yes, that much he could tell.

"Hey," he said in a deep sleepy voice. "How are you this fine morning?"

"Good, how are you?"

"Great," he grinned and stretched after. "My friend was texting me last night, and I fell asleep mid conversation. I think he was agrovated, though. Kinda scared to call him back."

Jimin nodded his head, a smile appearing after, "understandable. Which one is that one?"

The oldest had told Jimin about his life a little more, the same way Jimin did. So, he learned that Yoongi had two best friends, both younger than him. He said that without them, he probably wouldn't be sitting there talking to him. While that scared the youngest, he didn't want to ask why, in case it would have upset him.

"The one in vacation with his family, not the one that left to America for that stupid exchange program. I get he is good at english, but he should enjoy his summer, not be stuck studying even more."

"Maybe he has a big plan for the future."

"Maybe he is just a plain old smartass," he rolled his eyes and looked back at his phone. A small smile appeared on his lips upon seeing the messy hair the boy had, "you look cute."

"You always say I look cute."

"Yeah, because you do. You are really cute when you wake up, before you go to sleep, mid day, any day, all day you are cute," Yoongi smiled at him, seeing the rosy color get even more intense on his cheeks.

The younger couldn't help but giggle as he looked away now, eyes facing the white ceiling, "are you doing anything today?"

"Asides from hanging out with you, nope. I plan on staying in this call for the rest of this fine day with the cute boy!"

"Yah, don't tell that out! Your parents might hear," Jimin quickly said, eyes looking at the oldest in panic.

"They don't care," he chuckled. "Don't worry, they won't interfere with my love life like that."

"Hmm," Jimin replied, eyes trailing towards his blank white wall.

"You seemed spaced out, are you really okay?" Yoongi asked, voice laced with worry.

The youngest looked back over, and offered a smile before speaking, "of course I am, I'm talking with you so I'm more than fine."

"Hey there, no flirting back to me, I'm the only one that can do that," he chuckled.

"Well, maybe once in a blue moon I will," he stuck his tongue out before laughing at the older's offended expression.

A soft knock was heard on Jimin's door, and the younger looked up to the door before yelling, "come in!"

His mother soon appeared, dressed with the regular protective gear, and carrying a tray with food, "i made your favorite this morning."

"Thanks mom."

"Oh, are you and Yoongi talking again?"

She had known that both boys were talking, after she had overheard Jimin talking. She had thought he had gone crazy until she walked into the room, and saw both boys sitting by the window, phones in their ears, having a conversation about the sun and the stars.

It was cute, she thought. It was good for her son to talk to someone else. And if it involved not being in the same room, than she approved even more.

Jimin covered the camera and nodded his head. He didn't want the oldest to see his mother dressed like a hospital personel, it was enough that he knew the fact the boy was sick. Now the questions came coming everyday about what exactly he had, he never bothered to answer him though.

"Yeah."

"Well, I'll leave you to it then," she smiled softly, noticing the way he had acted. "Let me know if you want anything specific for lunch, okay? And please, don't forget your medicine."

"Okay mom."

"I love you."

"Love you too mom."

After she left, Jimin uncovered the camera once more and looked at the image of the other boy.

"When am I going to meet her? You always cover the camera," he commented.

"Later on you will," he grabbed the tray from his bedside table and placed it on his lap.

Holding the phone against the plate, he started to eat while keeping the conversation with Yoongi, "so, if you plan to spend the day with me, what are we going to be doing?"

"Well," the oldest sighed, "we know some of each other by now. Why don't we watch a movie together?"

"A movie? How? I can't leave my room."

"I have a projector and some cool movies," Yoongi smiled. "I can play it on my wall," he pointed behind him. "You can watch from your window."

Jimin's smile grew wider, his head nodding, "yeah, that sounds really good hyung."

"Movies it is," he got up and walked towards a shelf. Turning the camera over, he showed the stacks of movies he had, "pick out any of them and I'll play it for you."

The youngest scanned the movies, and after a little while, he picked up about 3 of them. Yoongi picked two extra ones, insisting that they were good movies.

He set everything up, placing the projector and everything in a good angle so Jimin could enjoy the movies. He turned off his room lights and turned in the projector.

The youngest grabbed his chair, pillow, and blanket. He also got the candies his doctor had given him. Getting comfortable, he sat down on his chair and covered his body with the blanket excited to watch the movies. He kept smiling, and Yoongi had to admit, it made him look even more adorable.

Like he had promised, they watched movies all day long, with their phones on their laps so they could hear one another and see one another. Yoongi would glance at the youngest through the phone every now and then, and every time he did, he couldn't help but fall deeper for the boy.

Jimin was happy that day.

He had a friend.
