A Special Birthday ( A GaLe story)

Today is the special day!

Levy McGarden yawned as she stretched out her tiny arms. She jumped out of bed and got ready. Today was the day. Gajeel Redfox's birthday! Levy was excited for some reason. His birthday had nothing to do with her but she still felt cheerful. She hummed and headed out the door to the shopping district. She went to a weaponry and bought tons of iron there and headed towards the guild. As she did she spotted Lucy, Natsu, and Happy. "Hey!!" Yelled Levy, running towards them. "Yo!" Said Natsu. "Aye!" Yelled Happy. "Hey Levy you seem cheerful today. Anything good happen lately or something?" Asked Lucy. Levy blushed, she couldn't tell them that she was excited for Gajeel's birthday! They probably don't even know it s Gajeel's birthday she thought. Wait, how do I know his birthday anyways

thought Levy. Then she remembered.

[FLASHBACK STARTS]

*At the Fairy tail guild sitting down eating with Gajeel and Pantherlily*

Levy: So what have you been up to lately?

Gajeel: Eh nothing much

Levy: Oh that's cool, no upcoming events?

Gajeel: Hmmmm I don't think so.

Pantherlily: Gajeel, I thought your birthday is coming up soon.

Gajeel: Oh yeah I totally forgot!!

Levy: Really? When?

Gajeel: *Says birthday cuz I don't know when it is*

Levy: Well I guess we will have to celebrate it!!

[FLASHBACK ENDS]

"Levy? Levy? Hello????" Said Lucy. "Are you okay?? Are you daydreaming or something we arrived at the guild" "Oh uhh sorry" replied Levy and walked inside with Lucy. When she entered she looked for Gajeel. She walked around the guild to see if he was in his usual spots but he wasn't there. Hmm where is he she thought and decided to go ask Mira. " Hey Mirajane! Have you seen Gajeel today?" Asked Levy. "Oh Gajeel just went on a mission with Lily" she replied "why?" "Oh uhh just curious. Thanks" said Levy as she walked away in disappointment. She sat down at one of the tables and sighed as she took out the present out of her bag. "Oooh who is that for" said Lucy as she took the present out of Levy's hands. "Gajeel Redfox eh?" She said. "Lu-chan give it back!!" Said Levy embarrassed. Lucy gave it back to her and sat down next to Levy. "Soo why are you giving that to him?" Lucy asked. "C-cuz it's his birthday" Levy mumbled. As soon as she did the guild door slammed open. It was Gajeel Redfox.
