The six boys were trapped in a different dimension. They all started to panic and said things like 'What if we never get back to our world!?' or 'My mom is so going to kill me if I don't get back home...!' “Okay, Okay, calm down you guys. I'm sure we'll be able to get out here soon enough. Right now, we have to go ask people around this place, so we'll know where we are exactly. No harm done, right?” Akiyo told the rest of his friends and they just nodded their heads in agreement. The boys walked around, asking, but it seemed like they said they're in a game called Edens Kingdoms Online, and that they're in a kingdom called Shielded Winds Kingdom. One of the people there also said that the kingdom was on top of a huge mountain, and that legends has it that the kindom were known for their superior intellect of finding rare minerals, as well as dragons too. All of them jumped at the mention of 'dragons', and Ryuuji nearly fell to his knees.
They also saw few dragons flying around the kingdom, but the dragons didn't even try to attack the kingdom. And to top it all up, the town's people here didn't even seemed to be bothered by the dragons that are flying up in the sky at all. “Hey, why aren't these dragons attacking? Isn't it what they do?” Akiyo asked one of the town's people as curiosity flooded his mind.
“Oh, well, you see, this whole kingdom is protected. And the ones who are protecting this kingdom are not only the guards, but also the dragons that are flying up in the sky.” The person said. It turned out that these certain dragons are actually protecting this place. Protecting. Akiyo couldn't believe that. But he still worried that they can't get back home.
“Oh god...What is we never get back home...!?” Ryuuji asked, looking at all of his friends.
“Calm down, we'll find a way out of here soon. I hope.” Akiyo said to Ryuuji.
“Hope? Hope!? Dude, I need to get back home. My mom will freak if I don't get back home soon.” Kohaku said.
“Hey, we just have to keep looking for another portal. If we're lucky enough to find one, we're home free.” Akiyo said, looking at Kohaku.
“Fine. But I'm telling you, if we don't happen to find a portal, we'll be stuck here forever.” Kohaku said, looking down at his feet.
“There will be a way out for us. We just need to figure out whe-”
“There is no way out, guys.” A girl's voice suddenly sounded from behind Akiyo. He turned around, only to find a girl with black waist-length hair and red eyes. She wore a black mouth guard, fingerless gloves, a dark red jacket, a pair of black shorts, and a pair of black combat boots. She Also had a rifle strapped to her back, and two hatchets tied on both sides of her belt. “Trust me, I've been here for almost one whole year, and there isn't any point looking for a portal. I mean, its not like it'll suddenly appear right in front of you when you say you want it to. So, there's no point in going about everywhere looking for that stupid portal to appear.”
“Excuse me, who are you?” Akiyo asked the young black haired girl.
“The name's Akane Yuuki in this game. But you can just call me Akane or Aka for short. Which ever one you guys would like to call me. I'm the kingdom's top assassin.” All the boys dropped their jaws when she said 'top assassin'.
“T-T-TOP ASSASSIN!?” All of them yelled in union. They stared at her, dumbfounded by the information, eyes as wide as saucers. She stared back, confusion registered on her features, not knowing why they were making a big deal out of this.
“You're joking, right?”
“No, I'm not.”
“Heh, prove it then! Prove to us that you're the 'Top Assassin' here!” Ichigo said to Akane. Everyone around them looked at them.
“Is that a challenge?” Akane said, a smirk appeared on her face. There were whispers going about in the crowd. Akane was the top assassin around here, and another thing, no one dared challenged her. “Alright then. How do you want me to prove it? There isn't anyone who you want me to assassinate. So what's it gonna be?” She asked, looking at Ichigo.
“Um, uhh... Oh! I know. Since you use a gun, no I mean rifle, can you shoot all 10 of those tin cans over there?” Ichigo said, pointing at the tin cans which were set on different barrels in different areas, which would actually make it hard to shoot for some people. “In 10 seconds. I bet you can't do it.”
“Hah, try me...” Akane took her rifle from her back, and took took her stance. She was ready to shoot.
“3...2...1... Go!” Ichigo said. Akane took her first shot, shooting the first can off the barrel, then shooting the next can, then the next, and so on until she reached the last can which was already shot down with her final shoot. And what surprised Ichigo was that she did it in less than 10 seconds. The rest of the boys clapped hands, all except for Ichigo, who was shocked at how Akane shot all the tin cans off the barrels so quickly. And to top it off, all the tin cans were in different areas. All of them were far apart.
Akane then strapped her rifle at her back again. She looked over at Ichigo and his friends. “So, you believe me now?” She asked, raising an eyebrow, a smirk plastered on her face.
“I-I...I can't... How did!? How did you do that!?” Ichigo was almost speechless.
“Well, like they all say; Practice makes perfect. But that's for other people. Whereas for me, I was born with the ability to do such things. My dad used to go hunting a lot with his dad. And I guess I inherited that from my dad, since he was really good at shooting.” Akane explained to the boys.
“I see. So, I guess that's also how you became the kingdom's top assassin?” Akiyo asked her.
“Yeah, pretty much.” She answered, shrugging.
“Well then, Akane right? Nice to meet you.” Akiyo put out his hand to shake hands with her. A smile on his face.
“Yeah. Pleased to meet you too. Oh, and your friends too.” She took his hand and shook it.
