I walked into my room, Fane sat on my bed.

"Are you ok?" I asked him.

"Is Damien ok? I didn't mean to disrespect him."

"He's fine.. He's just having trouble letting go."

"Of what?"

I sighed, "He was in love with my mother."

"Oh.. That explains a lot."

"Yeah, but he's fine now."

Fane sat silently. I looked at him, his eyes showed that he was deep in thought.

"What wrong Fane?"

"I just... I care about you Angeline, at least my wolf does... The thing is that we haven't known eachother for long and I know that you've had... Dealings with that hunter, but when my father started asking questions about you... I don't know, it's nothing I've felt before."

I had no idea how to take it, "What do you think it means?"

He shrugged, "I've no idea, but my wolf goes nuts whenever I'm near you or when I see you smile at me, or when we kiss."

My wolf was pouncing around at the thought that his wolf is reacting to it the same way it reacted to him.

"What did your father say?" I forced out as I tried to calm my wolf, it was happily rebelling.

"That's the reason why he is coming here... He wants to see what kind of a leader you are.. And if you are my mate.. Whether or not you should stay with your pack or come back with me."

"WHAT!!" My eyes were wide and I couldn't stop from yelling the word, "I'm not leaving my pack Fane."

"I know Angeline, but it's my father. I couldn't say no."

I calmed myself, "This is unbelievable. Four months, I'm a wolf, I find out what happened to my parents, I kill the murdering bastard and become the alpha. Now I meet a Romanian Prince, who's father is already debating my future."

"Pretty busy life you've got."

"Oui." (Yes)

"You know, I do like it when you speak french. It always sounds sexy." He said with a grin.

I couldn't help but laugh, "Is that so?"

"Yep." He said leaning in to meet my lips. I gladly reciprocated but he pulled back.

"We probably shouldn't."

I got up and shut the door, "We've got plenty of time."

I straddled him on the bed, his hands on my waist and a grin on his face.

"Is that so? I recall that we lasted well into the early morning."

"We're just going to have to work on our timing then, that only happens with practice."

.........................

Fane and I hurriedly dressed ourselves as Damien's voice travelled up the stairs, I hopped around as I pulled my canvas shoes on and laughed at Fane when his shirt got stuck on his head.

"Shut up you." He said with a smile once he managed to pull his shirt on, he pulled me towards him and pressed his lips against mine. I wanted to take him for another tumble but we had to get moving.

"I would love to continue this but we've got some hunting to do."

"Fair enough."

We raced down stairs, giggling at eachother. Damien looked at us and wrinkled his nose, but he simply smiled, "I hope you two are being careful."
