Location: Royal palace, Ramaria, Uestrion.
Time: 03:49pm
The city thrived under the blazing afternoon sun, the cedar streets filled with many forms of life. Ramaria- the most developed city on the planet of Uestrion. Ruled by the lone-wolf Abby Harle, put into her position via birth rights.
standing out in the crowd of colours would be Nathan, his strides shortened as he weaved though the streams of people who had been attracted to the location as a result of the monthly market. Thousands of goods lay on display, the carts making an easy passage rather difficult- like a rowboat in a storm, or a leaf in the river, the slim figured adolescent would either find himself fighting against the waves of shifters, or simply submit and follow the crowd.
With the meeting in mind, he casted an arm forward, pushing what looked to be a couple away as he pushed through, breaking the surface on the curves of the seemingly unorganised gathering. On the more absently busy sections of the street, the male could finally breathe. His ivy optics were set on the monumental castle, unlike the castle it was toned with a bisque-beige colour scheme, needless to say, it stood out. As every castle would.
Gradually, the tall and dark attired male made his way toward the castle's main bridge, two heavily armoured, almost featureless guards stood tall. Like ever glistening pillars, they supported the home of their queen on the security front. His deep ivy optics scanned the perimeter, carefully examining the terrain. Nobody could know what was happening in his brain, what his thoughts were.
The pair of reflective beings who'd stood at their stations since the break of dawn looked over the figure, pushing their arms outward, their long-swords and blocking the path.
"What is the meaning of your visit, Nathaniel." The left guard would enquire with a rough tone, put on edge by his presence. "I'd have thought you'd know. It is visiting day, after all." he'd state, his tone deep, smooth with a passive aggressive tint.
"Right...Well, you could have told us you were coming at all." The same guard would respond, the two stepping back into their stances, the pathway now unblocked. Nathan adjusted his black jacket, sorting out the collar. He couldn't deny that he was under an intense situation, meeting his homeland's queen and one of their worst prisoners all in one day. With these meetings in mind, he began to walk along the large bridge. Beneath wouldn't be any bodies of water, merely more of the magnificent city.
Meanwhile, in the deeper depths of the castle, deep in the dungeons would be a solitary figure, held down in a kneeling position by a mass of chains. The figure wrapped in them had little to no movement available, his head hung back and his hands locked behind his back, his legs folded and slightly apart for comfort. The room would be pitch black if it wasn't for the one light that cascaded down over the timeless male who shared similer features to the castle bound Nathan, his first friend, his first enemy. His brother, his twin.
The door to the large cell's handle would twist, sending a piercing squeal as it slowly swung open, the chains chimed as the restrained body found movement despite the heavy weights, lifting his head slowly forward and resting piercing bleached eyes onto the team of guards which dared to approach him. "That time already?" He'd ask, his voice crackled in his throat, every word rolling off his tongue in a delayed manner due to the years of isolation. Conversation had been muted out completely.
"Yes, as of now- Your brother is entering the castle. He is requesting your presence..." The head guard would respond, tightening their grip on their weaponry. "All this time together and you still think im a threat?" The chained male would seemingly complain. "Our actions are justified." The stone cold voice responded, the well respected superior would pace across the room with care, as if every step could be their last - they made them firm and confident.
