The Lab for Extraordinary and Talented Objects (LETO) was founded in 1943 by an Italian group of fascists and was rebuild by an American billionaire after it got destroyed in WW2. Children and teenagers with special talents from around the world are getting taken away their homes ever since. They get numbers instead of their real names and get trained and analyzed to improve their power. They still get educated in a special school of LETO to ensure the mental growth of the individual. If a number stands out - in a good or bad way - it'll get a project name fitting to their talent.
Every number gets a personal doctor who'll take care of the mental and physical health of the project.
After they graduate with ~20-25 y/o - they'll get the choice of becoming a teacher or doctor themself, become a special agent to "hire" new numbers or join a special military force and fight with their talents.
If a number doesn't prove themselves and graduates - it will be "disposed".
