"Who the hell comes to perform at the wedding of his ex girlfriend?!" Geet shouts from the washroom.
Jordan leans against the wall outside the door. A waiter stops hearing her voice and hesitantly looks at the sign. 'Gents Washroom.' Jordan growls at him. The waiter sprints.
"Sachcha aashiq," Jordan answers with a smirk. "OH THE TIMING!" she screams and opens the door.
She's dressed in a breathtaking red lehenga. The kind which she always dreamt of wearing at her wedding and had described at least 686 times to Jordan.
"Do you know what the problem is?" She fumes.
Jordan takes a moment to look at her. She has never looked this gorgeous.
He walks towards her, gently arranging her maang-tika when there are inches away from each other.
"You don't even have one happy song to sing! You REALLY don't get weddings,"Geet grumbles.
Jordan pulls her close and keeps his fingers on her lips. They silently hug it out in one corner of the hotel lobby.
"Let's run?" He asks.
Geet frees herself from him and pushes him, realising they have an audience: Roop, Geet's sister.
Roop freezes for a moment, before turning back and rushing to the elevator.
Jordan laughs. Geet is frustrated. How come Roop always sees her in awkward situations with men?!
She slaps her forehead and walks towards the entrance. "Now lets run with my family?"
From the main lobby, Geet takes a flight of stairs, carefully picking her lehenga as she makes way through guests. Some stop her to congratulate. Geet has a fake smile plastered on her face. Thank-You-So-Much.
"You didn't even give me a chance," Jordan says. "All your life you took decisions on an impulse. Break up. Patch up. Break up."
Geet goes for her final touch up in a corner. The groom, standing on stage, is relieved to see her.
"I am sorry for everything. But I came her because you wanted to see me, to give this—whatever is left—one last try," Jordan says.
Geet continues with her forced smile. Thank-You-For-Coming-Did-You-Eat?
"Yes," she turns towards him. "But we are too crazy. To feel pain, you once broke up with me and wolfed down samosa chutney! I travelled 500kms because I was possessive. We are dangerous. What if we get tired with each other in future?"
Roop enters the room with beefed up Punjabi men and points to Jordan.
"We won't. We can work on this. Hum dono he toh hai ek dusre ke liye. We were and we will be," Jordan says.
Geet looks at him for a moment and pauses. She starts walking to the stage and stands next to the groom as her cousins surround her.
Geet's uncles surround Jordan. He looks at them and smiles. He looks at Geet.
"You must be hungry? What do you want to eat?" the groom asks Geet. With her eyes fixed on Jordan, she lets out a smile, and says,
"Samosa Chutney."
