"Congratulations! You are going to go to school from next week! And you are going to be in Zoe's class!" said mom excitedly
I jumped out of happiness! School? Finally! "Actually? Will I get my present now?" I asked
"I already got it! Guess what it is." said mom
"Umm..chocolate? a pet?" I asked
"Nope...it's a..." she said revealing a big teddy bear.
"Thank you! I love it! Can I go show it to Zoe?" I replied excitedly
"Yes, of course but be in fifteen minutes. We have to go shopping for your new school," replied mom
I nodded and I ran to her house. Zoe is my new best friend! She is very nice and even told me how the new school is going to be! She lives two blocks from my house and play together everyday. She is going to love the new toy.
As I reached her house, I told her everything. She was just as excited as I was. After ten minutes I told her I had to go. I left the house and went back to my house. We went shopping and I got a lot of stuff for school. I'm almost all ready for school! While we were going to the mall, mom told me she had to go to Thailand for work and if I'm okay with it. I said of course because she promised I can stay with Zoe the whole time!
*A week later*
Today, I went to school. I...don't like it! All the teachers are very nice but the students there hate me! They call me names that I don't like! Zoe told me not to listen to them but it still hurts! I can't tell mom because she is so happy for me. I can't just tell her I don't like it. I can't even stand up for myself because I saw a boy did and he was beaten up by big kids. Now I don't want mom to leave! I didn't make as many friends as I thought I would. I have two new friends Lily and Crystal. Crystal doesn't talk much, but me, Zoe, and Lily, we talk a lot! It's so fun to play and talk with them!
*A few weeks later*
Mom went to Thailand a three days ago and I had the best time in my life! On day one, While coming back from school, me and Zoe went to eat ice cream together. (Her mom had no idea!) And played the whole day! On day two, her dad took us to amusement park. It was very fun. On the third day, it was our weekend so Crystal and Lily came over to Zoe's house to play. We had so much fun together! I can't wait for mom to come back. I miss her already, even though I talk to her everyday.
