Once there was a 6th grade girl. Her name was Rosetta, but everyone called her Rose. Her life was pretty normal except that her dad died when she was only 4. One day her life changed completely. She was sitting in 6th Grade Math pretty easy. She was working on her homework. Than all a sudden a big boom comes from outside. It was not a normal boom. It sounded like it was a bomb exploding. She did not like the sound because that is how her dad died. He was at war and his shelter was bombed. When this happened she jumped up and hid under her desk. The teacher did not know what was wrong but figured that it was something really bad. The teacher walked over to the window to see what it was but nothing was outside. So the teacher walked over to Rose and helped her come out. Than the teacher asked her what was wrong and she said nothing. So she asked again and Rosa said that it just scared her. But the teacher did not believe her. So she just said okay. Than Rose asked what was the big boom was? The teacher said that it was nothing just a sound. Later that night the teacher called her Rosa’s mom and told her all about today and asked why it would have scared her. So Rosa’s mom told her that her dad was killed in a bombing at war. The teacher said that she was so sorry to hear that. But it was no big deal. After that she did not go back to school she was home schooled from there on out.
