I walked down my street with my friend , Sofia , to catch the college bus.
We had both just started to attend crafter's college for advanced students. I.E we had just joined a school for snobs both our parents forced us to join .
And I mean literally Forced . anyway, we both had managed to achieve A* on our normal curricular and for the other classes we chose . I chose music , art and science while Sofia chose physics , ICT and some other subject I forgot .
Our college was based around Newcastle and had over 3000 students . And that's a bloody lot.
I only knew Sofia and a few more people who were going, Ricky , Lexi , Annabel , Dan and Christopher.
My younger brother attended a normal high school nearby and my mum worked for the NHS , as you do.
When I turned nine , my father was diagnosed with leukemia , and died a few weeks before my 11th birthday .
I visit my dad weekly at Accrington cemetery and place new flowers on his grave . Normally I buy a mixed bunch of tulips .(these were his favourite )
My dad was always there for me as a child , he helped me bake and do school projects , but most importantly he helped me through school . full stop. I had a very hard time as a kid , because I was "different " and didn't take must interest into the stuff normal girls would enjoy. I enjoyed things like reading , writing , singing , sports ,football and other thing while they were having sleepovers every week and painting their nails and faces like they were all trying to be the same . "their all just like dolls, all trying to be the same " my dad used to say . I miss my dad
I wish he was here .
