I was sitting in my house with a couple of friends. My parents had just left for a party and said that I could invite some friends over. It was about 9:00 when they left. My friends and I sat in a circle in the living room. We played Truth or Dare for about an hour. After that we watched a few movies. When the last movie finished it was around 12:00am.
We all decided that we should lay down for the night. So, we laid down some pillows and blankets and settled down there. All my friends had fallen asleep in a matter of 30 minutes. I however couldn't fall asleep for another hour. But I finally fell asleep. Yet right as I closed my eyes I heard a noise coming from the other room. 'Are my parents home yet?' I asked myself. 'They were supposed to be out all night' I thought again.
I cautiously got up from where I was laying. I stepped over my friends making sure I didn't wake them, and slowly walked to where the source of the noise was coming from. I then heard it again from the kitchen. I walked cautiously to the kitchen and turned the light on. Only to find my cat Daisy digging through the trash. "Daisy, don't scare me like that." I said aloud. I then picked her up and walked back to the place I had been sleeping. I set Daisy down and lyed back down myself. Daisy lyed down next to me and fell asleep.
Not even an hour later I heard the noise again. I sat up quickly and looked to see if Daisy was still beside me. 'If daisy is next to me then what made that noise?' I asked myself. I cautiously got up and woke my friends up. I told them that this wasn't the first time I had heard the noise. They told me that it was probably just house noises, and that i could be hearing things. I didn't want to believe them and told them to check the noise out with me. They didnt want to at first, but I persuaded them to do it.
We got up and looked around the house only to find nothing. My friends laughed at the fact I was scared, and mocked me. I told them not to mock me but they didn't listen and continued. I got mad and walked back to where we were sleeping. They soon followed me and lyed back down. "Don't be such a scaredy cat." One of them said. I told them I know I heard the same noise a few times before, and that it was concerning me. Yet again, they didn't listen to me. They just went back to sleep. I then laughed a bit. I wasn't going to let these idiots mock me. Who do they think I am?
I got back up and walked to the kitchen. I looked in the kitchen drawers to find something sharp. I got a knife and started sharpening it. I'm suprised the noise of the knife against the sharpener didn't wake them. I gently set the knife down on the counter. I then walked into the garage as quickly and quietly as I could. Once I got in I grabbed a hammer and a bucket of nails. Reentering the house I did very cautiously. I grabbed the knife and walked back over to my "friends." I looked at them and grinned. I woke them but hid the knife behind my back. I told them I had heard the noise once again. The got up and groaned. They started looking around the house once more.
I made sure they split up. I followed one by one. First the smallest one. I cornered them and put the knife to their neck. They said one word and with that I left a deep cut on their neck killing them. I did this with every one of them. They all said the same word before they were gone.
I took the bodies, along with the hammer and nails to the back where the forest was. I went at least two miles into the forest. I nailed each body to its own tree. Nails in their hands and feet. I then took the knife and gutted them. Their guts left all on the ground, I chuckled and said aloud, "That'll teach you not to mess with me." I walked back to the house hoping no one had heard anything. But I was up for a suprise.
Once I arrived at the house the cops were at the front door. "Shit." I mumbled to myself. I gently opened the back door and went in very cautiously. Only to find the cops were inside also. My parents were behind the cops. With blood all over me, my parents eyes widened in horror. The cops then appointed their guns at me. By that point it was me saying that last word.
"Wait..."
