Chapter 9 - The Wedding

CHAPTER 9

28th May 2016

“The bride and groom have written their own vows.”

“Katie, we have been through so much together. We’ve been through thick and thin and have made so many stories on the way. I am so grateful for getting everything I’ve wanted in life and more: a job I love to do, a beautiful house, a wonderful family and the perfect bride. Now that my list is complete, I want to start a whole new family, with you.” My eyes started to tear up, but I tried my best to hold it back. “Ian, I’ve known you since I can remember. You were my best friend until I moved, but I never forgot you. In that was the worst part of my life, but when I moved back here, all on my own, with no one to give me a hand, I had Ian. And we became closer, and they became the best years of my life, and I wish for many more as we become Mr. and Mrs. Hecox. I’ve said this before, and I’ll never stop. I promise I will love you forever."

Later on in the wedding

“Congratulations, Ian!” Peter said “You two are a great couple. How you worked your way out of those financial problems, genius!” Peter said shaking his hands by his head like it had exploded his mind. “Thanks, Peter, but actually, it was Katie’s idea giving some money to charity and keeping enough for ourselves.”

Meanwhile

“Congrats, Katie on hooking yourself the Ian Hecox.” My cousin, Helen said. “Awww, thanks, Helen.” I said blushing. “He said it was your idea about what to do when you had those money issues.” She said. “What? My idea? That was his. He thought of that himself.” I said thinking back. Suddenly the lights went down and ‘By Chance (You and I)’ by JRA came on the speakers. “Now can we make some room so the bride and groom can share their first dance together.” Said the DJ. Ian came from one side of the room behind a crowd of friends and family while I came from the other side of the room. Once again, I put my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my waist and slowly walked back and forth.

After a few minutes he whispered in my ear, "I'll love you forever.

But I think I got them all right, coz im not very good at maths and im typing those chapters late at night so I’m probably half asleep.
