Written by Ruby, to Summer Rose.
Tattered leggings, wretched memories,
As I lay by your grave today.
Corset tight, holding back life,
Keeping everything together by thin strings;
Traded hopeful crosses for ephemeral roses,
For I have lost my motherly savior;
Everything passes; rotting neurosis,
Shaking, I move forward;
Instinctual behavior.
At scythe's length I keep this reality away;
Wishing even further, at a sniper's distance.
I cannot grasp, I cannot fathom,
Can barely recollect,
Your solace within kisses.
I want to remember the warmth of your Summer!
I want experience what I cannot remember!
Why was everything torn so asunder?
Who turned this love...into December?
I wear my Devastation.
Grieving petals, left behind.
I need not mention my desolation;
Flowering forth, endless supply.
