Taylor always took her to the most beautiful places.

They were on a beach, walking slowly, letting sand slip away between their toes.

"You know I had a shoot here all day last year?" she said.

"I know, I know." Taylor almost skipped by Karlie's side "But I found the perfect spot. It'll be worth it."

"I trust you." Karlie took Taylor's outstretched arm and linked their fingers.

Karlie was often clad in the most luxurious of materials, but none of them could substitute Taylor's warm and smooth skin.

Even after the day she just had and the show to prepare for, Karlie let Taylor lead her behind the corner, over the stones...

"CAREFUL!"

Taylor almost slipped on the rocks and Karlie grabbed her around the waist just in time.

Once they both regained sure footing, they laughed. It was their laugh. The one that had all the fans screaming "KAYLOR!KAYLOR!" At them... Light, encompassing, private.

"Ok, I'll be careful, its just a bit farther." Taylor promised.

Then they were there.

Karlie blinked, the small lagoon was just remote from the lights of the city enough to show the sky, glittering with stars.

"Wow."

"I told you." Taylor grinned "But there's more."

There was always more.

Taylor turned and started beckoning Karlie with a finger as she tiny step at the time entered the water.

"OH nononon no. Get out! It's May!"

But Taylor was persistent, and now up to her hips in freezing water, soaking her clothes carelessly.

Karlie could imagine it, the frostbite of the cool water on the sensitive skin of the stomach.

"Alright!" Karlie rushed in with all her determination to stop Taylor from going in any further.

It was as she had imagined it would be and her teeth chattered as she reached for Taylor's hand.

Taylor pulled her into a hug as Karlie started adjusting to the prickling feeling of the water around them.

Her skin grew numb as she looked into Taylor's eyes.

"Look around." Taylor told her and spun in spot setting specs of light trailing through the water.

"IT's glowing! The water!"

"I told you it's worth it." Taylor sang as Karlie dipped her palms in the water, no longer caring for the cold. Every movement set lights ablaze, like reflecting of a disco ball.

Taylor spread out her dress and spun away. The stars, Taylor's dress, small waves she produced aglow...

"You did." Karlie trailed her hands behind herself and watched the water bloom. She could swear she saw all the colors, but when she tried to see better it was just like catching sunshine.

Finally, Karlie was in Taylor's arms again.

"Thank you."

Yes, Taylor always took her to the most beautiful places.
