Sirena's Point Of View
I looked over at the time on my phone as my alarm rang, 7:47 AM. Better get ready for work. Slowly rising from my bed I went to my bathroom to get ready. I lived in a decent apartment in New York, because the rent was an okay amount of money I needed to pay. After brushing my teeth and taking a warm shower it was time to decide what outfit I wanted to wear for the day. Working at a nice hair salon I had to get affordable, expensive looking clothes. I thought about wearing a off-shoulder white top, jeans that were ripped near the knees, my plain black purse, and a gold watch I got from a sale in New York and Company.
Looking impressed with my outfit I sprayed some perfume I also got from the sale, and headed out to my car which was a black Toyota Corolla my mom left behind before leaving to South Carolina with my step-dad. She and my step-dad left some money behind for me to live out here, and along with my best friends who have supported me a lot. Getting in my car I took a quick trip to Starbucks to get a grande caramel latte, and a croissant for my breakfast. Six more minutes of driving I was at the hair salon. My boss Valeni was the best thing ever. With a few skills I've learned from my mom, and Veleni teaching me a lot I was able to get this job, and I've been the most grateful ever. The salon looked professionally made and done.
"Good morning Valeni." I said with a smile walking in the salon.
"Morning Sirena." She replied with a smile. "Looks like you have a great amount of work needed to be done today."
