"Ladies First." Daniel said with a tone, full of humor and excitement, holding the door open for you. "Why, thank you." You walk passed him, unintentionally teasing him with the sweet scent of your perfume and enter the furniture store, instantly feeling the warm heat hit you. He lightly smirks, taking in the aroma of the rose like fragrance, but decides to leave his desires for later.
Like a married couple, he holds your hand and roams through the store, passing by hundreds of couches you can barely tell apart. Both your eyes scan back and forth from the brown leather to the black, deciding which would look better in your family room. "Daniel" you say, overwhelmed with all the furniture. "Uh," he lightly laughs, rubbing the back of his head, clearly having no idea what he's doing as well. He smiles down at you with kind eyes. "Are you enjoying this?" he asks, hinting at the fact that he's not. "It all looks the same," you whisper. "Right? This is terrible!" He falls back to the nearest couch, set up in the display of a living room. You follow down, where your waist is joined by his long, securing arms and your back pressing over his chest. You watch other couples walk by, certain of what they're looking for like they've been doing this for years, but your thoughts are quickly disturbed by the gentle squeeze of Daniel's hands around your stomach.
"Stop," you crack a smile, pulling his hands away. "I promise I won't do anything." He raises his hands for proof. "I know how you hate being tickled." "Thank god," you sigh. "Am I allowed to cuddle you?" You smile hard and nod. He pulls you back into his arms, fitting his chin in your shoulder. "Mmm, you smell soo good." he says softly against your neck. "Like it?" "Yes," he groans and kisses your neck, forcing your head to tilt to the side. "Daniel," you whisper, trying to push him off. "Hmm?" he asks, kissing the side of your jaw. "Don't you think this is a little too public? People are staring." "No," he smiles warmly and kisses you again. "But-" "What? I can't be comfortable in my own living room?" he asks sarcastically. You softly chuckle. "Seriously, you need to stop." "You're right. Good thing we have our own bedroom, hu?" He pulls on your arm, walking you through the open door, leading you to the dull, monochromatic styled room. His smile drops, seeing the boring set up. "Oh..our bedroom's ugly," he says, almost laughing. You burst into a loud laugh. "How about that one?" you call out, pointing in the direction of a different set up at the end of the room. "Now, that's a bedroom."
You lay still over the king sized bed, sinking in the mattress as you watch Daniel crawl from the end of the bed over to you, sliding his hand up your sun dress and stares down, deep into your eyes with a smile. "Good thing the kids are sleeping," he says shrugging his shoulder in the direction of the empty twin beds sitting in the next room. You laugh, wrapping your arms around his neck. "God, you're cute." He smiles with his hair pushed away from his face, showing his full eyebrows perfectly arched above his brown eyes. His body sinks over yours and kisses you softly, angelically moving his lips over yours with varied pressure. Almost forgetting you're in public, your hands lead down from his neck to his chest and down south, but before you could initiate anything, you hear the gasping and laughter of children as they stand there, watching in awe. You slowly turn to them, now feeling Daniel heavier than ever. "Sweetie," he mumbles, slowly removing his hands from underneath your dress. "Yeah?" you whisper, making eye contact with the giggling children. "I think the kids are up." You look back to him and laugh hard, pushing on his chest to force him off.
You continue running back and forth like children in a playground, acting out different scenarios in every room, full of laughter and smiles, but as expected, the employees approach you and tell you to stop or you need to leave. Knowing Daniel, he could care less about the rules or what people ask of him, so naturally, he continues playing around with you, pretending to cook, eat dinner and even read bed time stories to his imaginary kids.
You stand over the white, marbled sink, pretending to wash dishes as Daniel's arms wrap around you from behind, serenading you with his soft, whispers. "Just imagine what it would be like once I marry you...our kids waiting on the kitchen table for their mommy and daddy to join them for dinner." He gently runs his fingertips across the back of your neck, creating a pattern of chills along your skin. "Me helping you with the dishes then cuddling up in bed to a movie." You softly laugh. "You clean?" He nods. "I'll do it for you." You turn, colliding yourself into his arms and kiss him softly. "I love you." He cups your cheek."I love you too, baby...but I'm pretty I see the manager and security heading this way..so we might wanna go." You look back, noticing the angry stares and pull at his arm through laughter, ready to run. "Okay, we're done. No more furniture." Your words stumble over a quick speed, and even though you hate to admit it, it always is the best getting into trouble with him.
