P.O.N.Y.'s Bit: Yippee! Destiny Stars/Stone is back! (It used to be called Destiny Stone but with a bit of tweaking Destiny Stone is now Destiny Stars). Of course, its still the same (basically) storyline but its back with a lot more sophistication<3
Destiny Stars
☾ The Opening Night ☽
"Where are you young mistress?" I heard Sun demand, as I tried to stifle my laughter. I was hiding in the bottom drawer of the sink, in my new fancy designer dress that Olive must have spent a lot on. Well, I hope that dress is dirtied and broken! I'm not a doll to be dressed up and showed off in balls.
"You do know, that somehow I'll find you right? And then you'll be forced to go to the Midnight Ball anyway?" Sun commented exasperately, as I heard the clapping of her heels on tiles. I gulped, that meant she was near. I closed my eyes in the semi-darkness, only to have sudden light attack my face. I opened my dark brown eyes to find Sun's sombre ones staring unimpressedly at me.
"S'up?" I smiled awkwardly. My brain was screaming at my mouth, telling me now was not a good time to use sarcasm. My mouth was silently screaming back that it was a reflex thing. "Long time no see, Sun."
You see, Sun was my bodyguard, maid (ish), chaperone (even though she isn't eighteen yet), sensible/mature acquaintence and the kid who always dragged me crying and screaming to a ball (okay, not really the crying and screaming part but the dragging part was real. Very real).
"S'up indeed," Sun grinned, revealing her set of pearly white teeth, and her pair of very sharp incisors (something which she was simply just born with). "So, about the Midnight Ball that you were supposed to have attended," Sun checked her watch- a gold Rolex (a Christmas present from Olive and me),"Fifteen minutes ago..."
"Well, you see. The noble always arrive fashionable later," I explained, making up things as I went," So I simply decided to entertain myself while carefuly checking the time on my own watch. You see?" I held up my Lady Datejust watch for her to see.
"Well, that explaination would have made sense if you know, the ball hadn't ended before you even went?" Sun replied just as sarcastically. Damn it, she may have had a black belt in over seven different arts but she was beyond belts in the art of sarcasm.
"Oh yeah," I replied lamely, "That too."
Sun rolled her eyes, used to behaviour like this from me. "Anyway, I knew you would miss the Midnight Ball on purpose-" Which at this point had let me be rather sceptical at her prediction of me- "So I simply booked you for the Evanescence Ball."
I groaned, and let Sun haul me out of the bottom cabinet and was lead towards my wardrobe room where I was to chose my outfit for the night. There was no getting out of it this time.
What was a juvenile princess like me, supposed to do in instances like this?
<------ 1:00 A.M. Next day -------->
After making sure that Sun was well and truly asleep in her bedroom, I crept past the servant chambers and easily picked the locked door. I was lucky that I had managed to convince Olive to purchase a smaller house than the usual mansion he showers me with.
"Cya kiddlypoo," I smirked to no-one in particular, using my usual nickname for everyone in the world. I had my trusty katanas with me (even though weapons are basically illegal, because you know, I'm just that badass) and no-one, not even Sun could scare me.
As silent as I should be, I slid past the security alarms (I knew how to evade them, because I simply put them there myself), the watchguards and their slobbering dogs. Like a ninja, I hopped over the brick fence in true Otaku style (by backflipping, while using one hand to steady myself while being in the darkness. I know, its so cool).
