I had woken up to a fit of laughter and little giggles. I try to close my eyes and drift back into sleep when I hear a little voice. " Mommy help me," the little voice giggles. " Shhh. Mommy's sleeping," Cole whispers to our little girl. I turn around to see Cole tickling Juliet, our daughter, who turned 4 about 3 weeks ago. " Mommy hellppp!" Juliet says, still laughing. I pick her up and cuddle her when suddenly Cole starts tickling me. I burst out into laughter. We all lay in bed together when some cries were heard from upstairs." That's my cue!" Cole says before going upstairs. He comes back down with baby Carson in his hands. He's 1 and can sometimes be a handful.
" What's for breakfast?" Juliet whines. " How about we order some donuts?" I ask while twirling my finger in her hair. " YES!" both Cole and Juliet scream. Carson starts crying again when Cole says " I think Car is hungry too." I take Carson from Cole and breastfeed him in the nursery. When I come back downstairs I can't seem to find Cole and Juliet. Then I start hearing little giggles and whispers from the closet. I play along with them for a little bit, acting like I can't find them. Then I decide to lure them out by saying, " Well if they aren't here i guess they can't have any donuts." when little Juliet bursts out of the closet giggling with Cole trailing behind her. "Mommy me and daddy were hiding can we still have donuts?!" Juliet says. "Of course baby," I respond. I love my little family. I love days like this.
